STL1 (Schwartz-Schenn-Tarasenko)

The St. Louis top line will look to stop the bleeding against the Blackhawks after the Blues were demolished in their last home game on Thursday. This should be a high-paced game, and the numbers the Blues’ top line has posted suggest that they should be performing better, as they have 28.4 Scoring Chances For per 60 and 14.2 High-Danger Chances For per 60. They’re simply too cheap and in too good of a matchup against a bad Blackhawks defense to avoid, despite how bad it’s been in St. Louis. For just over $17K, I’ll take STL1 against the high-event Chicago top-6 at even-strength.

MIN1 (Niederreiter-Staal-Zucker)

This line provides some great value on DraftKings with both Staal and Zucker at $5,500 and Niederreiter at just $3,700. They will avoid the high-powered top Colorado line at even-strength as the Koivu line will be on shutdown duty at home, per usual. The Avs depth lines are nothing to be worried about, and not only are we getting a solid line at even-strength, but we’re also getting full top power-play correlation against a team on the back-end of a road back-to-back.

VAN1 (Leipsic-Horvat-Eriksson)

No, it’s not pretty, but if MIN1 isn’t cheap enough for you on DraftKings, dropping down to the Vancouver “top” line allows you to fit any other line on the slate, and they haven’t been bad in their limited sample. In 23 minutes (2 games) of even-strength ice time, they have a 64% Corsi For Percentage and with Boeser and Edler out, each of these 3 saw top power-play minutes, so if they are forced to miss another game, it’s hard to find better value. While this line isn’t a very exciting trio, The Penguins have played very high-event in their road games this year, allowing 66 Corsi Against per 60 at even-strength and nearly 30 Scoring Chances Against per 60.

**Brock Boeser and Elias Pettersson will be in tonight, but Edler will be out. I prefer the Boeser-Pettersson combo in GPPs but it looks like Horvat-Leipsic-Eriksson will remain together at even-strength.**
