OTT1 (Tkachuk-White-Stone)
The Senators are coming off a disappointing performance in a good spot against the Red Wings, but I’m looking to fire them up once again in tournaments tonight, specifically this top line. They should avoid Pittsburgh’s best defensive line, Pearson-Malkin-Hornqvist at even-strength and instead get to go up against Guentzel-Sheahan-Kessel, which is allowing almost 20 High-Danger Chances per 60 at even-strength. This trio not only should get solid minutes in great matchups at 5-on-5, but they all played together on the top power-play unit last game as well. They should come at low ownership as many others flock to PIT, NSH, and elsewhere.
FLA2 (Huberdeau-Trocheck-Vatrano)
The Panthers’ second line has been playing very high-event hockey, which is always great news when you’re up against the Rangers, as they are in the top 1/3rd in the NHL in all of Corsi Against per 60, Scoring Chances Against per 60, and High-Danger Chances Against per 60 on the year. This line is creating over 66 Corsi For per 60 in their time together, and if you use the whole stack, you get exposure two intrical parts of the Florida top power-play unit. The Rangers haven’t been hard-matching, but there’s no line that you should be worried about, so for $16,400 on DraftKings, they’re a solid bargain.
SJ1 (Meier-Couture-Pavelski)
The Sharks top line got broken up in their last game, but they were in tact at morning skate today, so it looks like we’ll get a chance to use them against the Blues, who are on the back-end of a road back-to-back. We don’t have much data on them just yet, but even if they go up against the O’Reilly line, it’s not a matchup we should be scared of, as they’re allowing 11.2 High-Danger Chances Against per 60. At 5v4, here, too, we’ll get 2 pieces of the top unit, and backup goalie Chad Johnson will be in net for the Blues to make the matchup even sweeter.
Ott1 is going against Pitt1? Article doesn’t make any sense? Just looked on Lineup builder and those line are going against each other? Am I missing something?
