DraftKings and FanDuel NHL Stacks of the Day for 4/28

Just 2 games to work with on this day-night NHL slate, but it is always good to break down some hockey and make a little money along the way. As always, Awesemo will weigh in on each stack first, then I (Tommienation1) will follow up with some extra analysis.

BOS2: Nash-Krejci-DeBrusk ($14,200 DK/$16,700 FD)

“The second line for the Bruins has been great this postseason and they should get the softer matchup at even-strength compared to the top line.”

This line posted a 55.4 Corsi For Percentage, 40 Scoring Chances For per 60 minutes, and 18.6 High-Danger Chances For per 60 minutes at even-strength. They will see a lot of the Stamkos line for the Lightning which they will have a tough time with defensively, but TB1 gave it up defensively all regular season, allowing 29.5 Scoring Chances Against per 60 minutes and 11.8 High-Danger Chances Against per 60 minutes. This entire line will get power-play time as well, and the Lightning are averaging almost 4 Times Short-Handed per game these playoffs.

VGK1: Marchessault-Karlsson-Smith ($19,400 DK/$19,800 FD)

“The Golden Knights have a 3.2 team total tonight in Game-2, and down on their top players, the Sharks should have their hands full at even-strength.”

The Vegas top line (“B” points grade) showed you their upside in Game-1, combining for 9 points while dominating the Sharks on home ice. Now the Sharks will be without one of their top forwards, Evander Kane, so their lines may be in disarray. In the playoffs, VGK1 has a 61.6 Corsi For Percentage, 30.3 Scoring Chances For per 60 minutes, and 12.3 High-Danger Chances For per 60 minutes at even-strength, and they’ll all be on the top power-play as well. They may be chalky here, but they’re a tougher fade for me than the other home team’s top line tonight (TB1).
