The Stack of the Day are lines we want to take a closer look at for tonight’s slate. Tonight, there are 2 lines in different price ranges that we’ll discuss for this 2-game playoff slate. Awesemo will weigh in first, then I (Tommienation1) will follow up with additional analysis.
BOS2 DeBrusk-Krejci-Nash ($13,900 DK/$16,700 FD)
“The Bruins 3.4 implied total is the biggest on the night, so getting this line at these prices is a bargain.”
The 2nd line for the Bruins (“A” DK value) has been awesome the entire playoffs posting a 53.6 Corsi For Percentage and over 30 Scoring Chances For per 60 minutes. While DeBrusk is considered a game-time decision, Krejci and Nash should be good to go, and Krejci could slot into a top power-play role if Brad Marchand is forced to miss Game-4. This game is the first to lock so we’ll know the status of the GTDs for Boston, but if this line is in tact, I’m a big fan of them tonight on home ice.
VGK1: Smith-Karlsson-Marchessault ($18,600 DK/$20,200 FD)
“The top line for the Golden Knights is worth their price tonight as they see big minutes and great matchups on home ice.”
This line (“B” points grade) has been unstoppable on home ice in the playoffs when looking at some of their possession numbers, including a 65.74 Corsi For Percentage 27.2 Scoring Chances For per 60 minutes, and over 10 High-Danger Chances while mostly going up against opposing top lines. The numbers look even better in the first 2 games of the series against the Sharks, and I expect a dominant performance out of this line once again. They’ll split time against the Couture and Pavelski lines, both of which have posted below a 47 Corsi For Percentage in the playoffs so far, so they are both very winnable matchups at even-strength and they’ll of course all be on the top power-play.
