Chris Duarte Under 3.5 Assists (-130, PointsBet)

The Indiana Pacers are currently playing without three of their five starters in Malcolm Brogdon, Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner. As a result, the opportunity has been there for reserve players young and old (shoutout Lance Stephenson) to make an impact. After returning from his own stint on the sidelines, rookie Chris Duarte has been putting up very solid statistical contributions. While Duarte has finished with no fewer than three assists in any of the last five games, he has only actually exceeded tonight’s NBA betting total of 3.5 helpers twice.

Even with Brogdon out, Duarte is not the primary ball-handler/point guard for the Pacers. That role is being filled by veteran Caris LeVert. thus, while the absences and increased minutes have enabled Duarte to regularly surpass his season average of 2.3 assists per game, the upside remains somewhat limited. OddsShopper and the NBA player props market appear to be in sync on Duarte’s prop bet for tonight’s game. OddsShopper lists heavy juice to the under on 3.5 dimes across all sportsbooks. Meanwhile, Awesemo’s projection of 2.87 assists carries a hefty 69% win probability for the under. While bettors do have to pay up given the pricing, a 22% ROI can still be obtained by making this wager at optimal -130 odds.

Terance Mann Under 11.5 Points (-110, DraftKings)

Wing Terance Mann had 16 points in the Los Angeles Clippers’ stunning comeback victory last night. However, this marked the first time in the last six games that Mann scored in double figures, much less achieve the full dozen necessary to top tonight’s NBA player props line of 11.5 points. With L.A. forced to account for the absences of both Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, Mann has had every opportunity to prove himself this season. Unfortunately, it just has not happened on a consistent basis at the offensive end. He enters Wednesday’s tilt averaging only 10.4 points per game.

While the lowly Orlando Magic profile as a positive matchup in terms of potential scoring production, Mann’s lack of shot attempts does not bode well for those betting over on this prop. The benchmark over the last nine games has been double-digit field goal attempts for Mann to score in double figures. OddsShopper does not project him to come anywhere close to the NBA betting total tonight, pegging him to score 8.80 points. According to OddsShopper, the best odds of -110 are up to ten cents better value than alternative prices in the market. OddsShopper has assigned a 33% expected ROI to this under prediction.

Bojan Bogdanovic Under 5.5 Rebounds (-128, BetMGM)

Tonight’s game marks the second straight meeting between the Phoenix Suns and Utah Jazz. The first time around, the Jazz were a shell of themselves. While star center Rudy Gobert will again be held out of tonight’s contest, Bojan Bogdanovic is among the Utah players who will return to action. In the three games prior to missing Monday night, Bogdanovic finished with at least five rebounds in each and twice exceeded tonight’s NBA player props total of 5.5 boards.

With Gobert out, other Jazz players will again be counted upon to contribute on the glass. However, the difference this time around is that Hassan Whiteside is back in the lineup. Thus, it is unlikely that Bogdanovic replicates the eight-rebound performance he had on Sunday when Utah was without both of their top centers. OddsShopper shows one sportsbook is even listing Bogdanovic’s rebounding prop one notch lower at 4.5. That mark is much closer to his per-game average of 4.2 boards on the season. Awesemo’s projection sits at 4.97 rebounds and predicts an ROI of 13% for the under when played at optimal -128 odds.
