Day’Ron Sharpe Under 7.5 Rebounds (-127, SugarHouse)

While rookie big man Day’Ron Sharpe has seen an uptick in playing time recently, there is certainly an argument to be made that his rebounding prop total has gotten a bit carried away. Despite seeing no fewer than 20 minutes in each of the Brooklyn Nets’ last five games, Sharpe has only surpassed the NBA player props line of 7.5 boards once. Furthermore, while center Nicolas Claxton is set to remain sidelined tonight, the Nets will welcome back veteran James Johnson from a stint on IR. His return could presumably eat into Sharpe’s playing time. While the 20-year-old has made solid contributions on the glass in limited opportunities this season, he would need to essentially double his per-game average of 4.3 for the over on this prop to hit.

With a projection of only 5.79 rebounds, OddsShopper gives this under prediction nearly an 80% win probability. OddsShopper shows that the NBA betting market largely agrees with that assessment. The odds on Sharpe’s rebounding prop are heavily juiced to the under across the various sportsbooks. In fact, bettors would still gain up to 14 cents in value by laying the optimal -127 odds. There is no reason not to feel confident in wagering on this under.

P.J. Tucker Over 4.5 Rebounds (-130, Caesars)

With starting Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo returning to the lineup, many bettors might automatically assume that the under on total rebounds for P.J. Tucker would be the way to go. However, in a matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers, one of the worst rebounding teams in the NBA, there figure to be plenty of boards to go around. Statistically speaking, tonight’s NBA player props total of 4.5 sits over one full rebound lower than the 5.7 Tucker has averaged on the season. He fell just short in Adebayo’s first game back on Monday with four boards. but has topped the line in four of the last six games overall. Tucker has also finished with no fewer than four rebounds in any game over that same span.

Given the favorable matchup, Awesemo projects Tucker to clear both the NBA betting total and his per-game average tonight. A prediction for 5.95 rebounds results in a nice 72% win probability for this over prediction. While OddsShopper shows that prices are juiced to the over across the NBA props market, bettors can still score a 27% expected ROI by playing the optimal -130 offering.

Caris LeVert Under 21.5 Points (-110, Caesars)

While the NBA player props scoring line of 21.5 sits 4.5 points below the 26 that Caris LeVert scored on Monday, it is also nearly 3.5 above his per-game average of 18.1 on the season to date. Of course, the Indiana Pacers were without LeVert’s backcourt cohort in point guard Malcolm Brogdon on Monday as they have been for the last three games. The most recent contest was the only one in which LeVert managed to exceed tonight’s NBA betting points total. He shot 50% from the field to do so, a mark that one has to believe will be difficult to replicate again this evening. There is also a chance that Brogdon, who is officially listed as questionable, returns to action tonight. This would undoubtedly cut into LeVert’s usage.

Currently, OddsShopper shows varying degrees of juice situated on either side of this prop. Some sportsbooks are tilted towards the under while others have higher prices on the over. The resulting favorable price of -110 offers up to 15 cents of additional value on the under than those at other shops. While the market may be conflicted, Awesemo’s projections certainly are not. A scoring prediction of 18.63 points results in a confident 66% win probability for the under. At the favorable odds, this prop also carries a solid ROI of 25%.
