NBA Betting Prediction: NBA Player Props | June 11

Danny Green Over 8.5 Points

Before diving into this NBA player props prediction, it must be noted that Green is attempting to win an NBA championship for a third straight season with a third different team. However, in each of the 76ers’ last three games, he has connected on just two field goals and scored no more than 5 points. Known for his ability to knock down 3-pointers, Green has hit just two of 14 attempts from beyond the arc in the last three games.

While momentum is not exactly on his side coming into Game 3 this evening, positive regression figures to be imminent. Green averaged 9.5 points per game this season and shot over 40% from 3-point territory. While the long balls haven’t been going in lately, the shot attempts are still there. If Green can just start knocking those down as he has throughout his NBA career, the over for 8.5 total points is well within his reach. With the 76ers aiming to wrestle back homecourt advantage in this series, include Green’s points prop among tonight’s NBA betting picks.

Danilo Gallinari Under 4.5 Rebounds

After virtually being non-existent in the Hawks’ Game 1 upset win, Gallinari had a much stronger Game 2 performance. He got hot from deep, connecting on five 3-pointers to finish with 21 points. He also grabbed nine rebounds in Tuesday’s contest, a bit of a shocking total to say the least. Gallinari had not finished with more than five rebounds in any postseason game prior to Game 2. The nine rebounds smashed his season’s rebounding average of 4.1 per game.

The NBA player props line is much closer to Gallinari’s season average than his outlier performance in Game 2. Even so, the under is well worth a look. Tuesday’s performance marked just the second time this postseason that Gallinari went over the NBA betting odds of 4.5 boards. Add in the fact that the 76ers were one of the league’s top rebounding teams this season, and regression on the glass is virtually guaranteed for Gallinari tonight.

Michael Porter Jr. Under 18.5 Points

The Nuggets are finding out the hard way that they cannot rely on Nikola Jokic to carry them through Round 2 of the playoffs. While Jokic might have been able to dominate a suspect defense in the first round, the Suns have proven capable of limiting his damage. As a result, more Denver players will be required to step up in the scoring column. The homecourt atmosphere should theoretically help matters, but the under on Porter‘s points line looks more appealing.

Porter’s first two games of this series were a far cry from how he fared offensively in Round 1. After being held to 15 points in Game 1, Porter shot just 3-for-13 from the field and finished with 11 points in Wednesday’s Game 2 blowout loss. Porter averaged 19.0 points per game on the season. However, the vast majority of games came against defenses inferior to that of the Suns. At just 22 years old, Porter is also proving prone to inconsistency. Even though he had multiple big outings in the first round, he has still only exceeded tonight’s NBA player props odds in three of eight postseason games to date. His chances of doing so tonight aren’t appealing, making the under a worthwhile NBA betting prediction.
