The Milwaukee Bucks steamrolled the Atlanta Hawks on Friday to level off the Eastern Conference Finals at one game apiece. The series shifts to Atlanta for Game 3 tonight, with both teams vying to gain the upper hand. There are several enticing NBA player props and odds on the board for Sunday’s matchup. The following article details two picks to consider, including a bounce-back prediction for Trae Young.
NBA Betting Prediction: NBA Player Props | June 27
Pat Connaughton Under 4.5 Rebounds
Although Connaughton has made some positive contributions during the postseason, it’s impossible to trust his minutes on any given night. After spending nearly 30 minutes on the court in Game 1, Connaughton was limited to just 13 on Friday. The odds have set his rebound total at 4.5 for Sunday night’s matchup. Even when Connaughton has gotten quality playing time in the playoffs, his stats have varied greatly from game to game. He finished with five total rebounds in Game 1 of this series, which marked just the second time in the last nine games that he went over the line of 4.5. This comes despite seeing 20 or more minutes in six of those outings. The two games Connaughton went over marked the only two in which he was on the floor for at least 29 minutes. He is probably not going to see that much action in a crucial Game 3 matchup. This furthers the inkling to go under.

Trae Young Over 9.5 Assists
Friday night’s Game 2 was one of the worst statistical outings of Young’s postseason. One has to believe that he will bounce back tonight. He played only 28 minutes in the blowout, which certainly didn’t help matters. That said, Young should have pretty fresh legs as Atlanta looks to reclaim the series lead on their home floor. Because of the poor Game 2 showing, bettors can find some profitable odds that haven’t always been there during these playoffs.
The Awesemo NBA Player Props Tool is locked in on playing over 9.5 assists for Young tonight. While double digits is a statistical feat most players only dream of having, Young has finished with at least 10 assists in six of the last nine games. He has averaged 9.4 per game over the course of the full season as well. The Bucks defense throttled Atlanta on Friday, but the lopsided nature of that game almost makes it a throwaway as far as NBA betting picks are concerned. Young was brilliant with 11 assists in Game 1 and will be much better tonight than the last time out. Even-money odds on the over make this an excellent play.
