Best NBA Player Props & Betting Picks Tonight

With OddsShopper, finding the best NBA betting player props is fast and simple. All users have to do is filter the prop selections, sort the page and find the best pick to bet. The process is extremely quick and highly effective. Try out the tool for yourself tonight with the three featured prop bets below!

Daniel Gafford Under 10.5 Rebounds (-128, BetMGM)

Even with fellow Washington Wizards center Montrezl Harrell being sidelined for the past week due to COVID protocols, Daniel Gafford has failed to record double-digit rebounds in two of the last three games. Given that 11 boards are necessary to clear tonight’s NBA player props line of 10.5, this sets up as one of the best betting picks on Monday’s board. The total is set nearly four rebounds higher than Gafford’s per-game average of 6.7 rebounds on the season. While it should be inflated given the depleted state of the Wizards’ frontcourt, it has been a week since Harrell was placed in the health and safety protocols. Under the league’s new COVID guidelines, there is a real chance he is able to return to action tonight.

OddsShopper shows that the NBA betting market is all over the map with regards to Gafford’s rebounding prop. While the odds are juiced heavily to the under on 10.5, there is even one sportsbook that has already moved the line down to 9.5. At that number, the odds are tilted heavily towards the over. With a projection of 8.79 rebounds, OddsShopper actually expects Gafford to finish below both variations of the line. The favorable -128 odds on under 10.5 provide over 20 cents in value relative to other prices in the market. At that price, OddsShopper gives this wager a hefty 34% expected ROI.

Will Barton Under 17.5 Points (-106, FanDuel)

With an average of 15.2 points per game on the season, Will Barton continues to get it done at age 30 for the Denver Nuggets. However, that per-game average is over two points lower than Monday’s NBA player props line of 17.5. While Barton has been thrust into a larger offensive role recently as a result of teammates Monte Morris and Bones Hyland being in COVID protocols, he has still only exceeded the NBA betting total once in the last four games. On New Year’s Day, Barton had a tremendous impact distributing the basketball but only scored 12 points.

In addition to the discrepancy between this prop line and Barton’s season scoring average, tonight’s matchup against the Dallas Mavericks figures to be a tough one as far as offense is concerned. The Mavs enter the day allowing only 104.4 points per game to opponents, the fourth fewest in the NBA. Awesemo projects Barton for 15.63 points tonight, a mark that falls much more in line with his scoring average than the inflated betting number. Bettors should be sure to check OddsShopper for the best value on this prop bet tonight. Currently, the optimal -106 price is up to nine cents better value than others in the market.

Larry Nance Jr. Over 10.5 Points (-118, FanDuel)

Despite only averaging 7.0 points per game on the season to date, there is a lot to like when it comes to betting the over on Larry Nance Jr.‘s NBA player props line of 10.5 tonight. For starters, the 29-year-old has seen an uptick in his offensive output recently. Nance comes into Monday having finished in double figures scoring in five of the Portland Trail Blazers‘ last six games. He has topped tonight’s NBA betting total in each of the last three contests. With starting center Jusuf Nurkic unlikely to return from COVID protocols in time for tonight’s game, Nance stands to be a key part of Portland’s frontcourt offense once again.

On top of Nurkic’s continued absence, the Blazers will also be without star point guard Damian Lillard tonight due to an abdominal injury. With C.J. McCollum remaining sidelined by an injury as well, there are very few offensive options remaining. A matchup against an Atlanta Hawks defense that has allowed over 110 points per game also bodes well for this over prediction. OddsShopper currently points bettors towards -118 odds that are up to 12 cents better value than competing prices in the market. With a projection for 11.71 points, OddsShopper gives this prop bet an expected ROI of 14%.
