Best NFL Betting Picks for Sunday Night Football on BetMGM | Ravens vs. Chiefs

Tonight Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens will host Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. There is nothing quite like seeing two of the best quarterbacks in the league in what is expected to be a high-scoring Sunday Night Football Game. There are different places you can go for both game and NFL prop bets. BetMGM Sportsbook has great odds for Sunday Night Football tonight, and these are some of the best NFL betting picks to make there tonight.

BetMGM Week 2 NFL Best Bets: Sunday Night Football

Spread: Baltimore +3.5 (-110)

When it comes to betting sides and totals, Awesemo also has a new sports betting model that compares the current point spread the sportsbook is providing versus what the expected point spread should be. In the sports betting model it shows an expected point spread of 2.8 points, and BetMGM is offering 3.5 points. The model shows that it is an expected ROI of 2%, which is the best bet of the night slate, as the moneylines and game totals have expected negative ROIs. Baltimore has a slew of injuries on both sides of the ball, notably left tackle Ronnie Stanley, who as of this writing is not expected to play. Generally the sportsbooks will account for injury, and at this point it should be assumed that the injury information the general public knows is already factored into the line.

Mecole Hardman Yards Receiving : Over 35.5 (-115)

When looking for player props, look at Awesemo’s player props tool to see what players are projected to do compared to the odds offered at sportsbooks. This is one of the best props of the night according to the tool. Awesemo has Mecole Hardman projected for 54.46 yards receiving, and there is a 78% chance that Hardman will hit the over, giving this 45.3% expected ROI. On paper the three catches for 19 yards and 1 air yard from Week 1 do not inspire a lot of confidence, which is why it is important to use a tool such as this one to remove any potential bias. Hardman is a deep threat, and he can get over 35.5 yards receiving with one catch. Betting on this line is betting that Hardman and Mahomes will make a connection one time this game. It does not hurt that in his two career games against Baltimore Hardman has six receptions for 178 yards and two touchdowns.

Lamar Jackson Anytime Touchdown (+100)

Lamar Jackson is not going to have a lot of help tonight. Marquise Brown is questionable, and Stanley is questionable. It seems that if Baltimore is going to be in this game, Jackson is going to have to make it happen at times with his feet. Whether it is in the red zone or whether he breaks off a long run, it would not be a surprise to see Lamar Jackson run for at least one touchdown tonight.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire Yards From Scrimmage: Over 72.5 (-115)

Awesemo’s Player Props Tool projects Clyde Edwards-Helaire for 89.2 yards from scrimmage. A nearly 17-yard discrepancy might seem small, but it is really a 23% discrepancy, allowing some margin of error into the projection and giving  a chance to win the bet despite it.
