When looking at the stats in Game 2, you may think the Bucks would have come away with the win. They shot more free throws than the Heat, while also making them at a higher percentage. Milwaukee was also a whopping +10 in offensive rebounds.
Ultimately, the Bucks’ biggest weakness in the game is what they have struggled with all season long, and that’s defending the 3-point shot. The Heat made 17 from long range, converting on 37.8% of those shots. While these aren’t mind-blowing numbers, they are solid ones. More importantly, it’s better than the 28% from deep that the Bucks shot.
Miami took a balanced offensive approach in Game 2. Their leader, Jimmy Butler, attempted only eight shots in the game. Goran Dragic ended up being the leading scorer, with 23 points.
