College Basketball Betting Picks & Predictions Today

Best NCAAB Picks Today: Auburn vs. Miami – Over 143.5

Totals will be the theme of today’s piece, starting with Auburn taking on Miami. Miami plays with a slightly below average pace, but Auburn paces up opponents with their 74.8 possessions per game. Likewise, Auburn exploits a weakness in Miami’s frontcourt with Walker Kessler and Jabari Smith. Miami ranks 337th in rebouding and 122nd in height, creating an awesome matchup for Auburn. On the Miami side, this team ranks 80th in three-point percentage which will be key here in this game reaching the total. Overall, both teams excel on offense, while facing specific weaknesses from the opponent’s defense.

Best NCAAB Picks Today: Notre Dame vs. Texas Tech – Under 131.5

Unlike the Auburn vs. Miami game, both Notre Dame and Texas Tech play extremely slow. Notre Dame averages 67.6 possessions per game, while Texas Tech checks in at 69.8. From there, Texas Tech ranks second in defensive efficiency, neutralizing Notre Dames 46th ranked offense. More importantly, they rank 62nd in three point defense, which neutralizes the strength on Notre Dame’s offense. Conversely, Texas Tech doesn’t play with the most size, ranking 154th in effective height. Notre Dame typically gives up production to opposing front courts. While Texas Tech has been solid inside, their lack of size doesn’t exploit Notre Dame as well as some bigger teams can.

Best NCAAB Picks Today: Ohio State vs. Villanova – Over 131.5

An overall slow game environment, Ohio State averages 67.4 possessions per game, while Villanova chacks in at 66.8. While this game should be played to a slow pace, both offenses have key advantages against the opposing defense. Ohio State plays primarily through their frontcourt with EJ Liddell and Kyle Young. Meanwhile, Villanova’s biggest weakness is their frontcourt. Nova ranks 146th in rebounding and 265th in effective height, creating a sharp advantage for Ohio State. However, Villanova ranks 34th in three-point attempts and 58th in three point percentage. Ohio State ranks 204th in perimeter defense, creating an aweseme matchup for the Villanova guards. With strength matching up against weakness for both teams, the over actually looks live here today.
