From a matchup perspective, Providence and Richmond both rank inside the top 90 in offensive efficiency. However, Richmond ranks outside the top 150 in defensive efficiency and 295th in rebounding. Meanwhile, Providence ranks 105th in defensive efficiency and 49th in rebounding. Also getting healthier after A.J. Reeves and Aljami Durham battled injury down the stretch, Providence holds enough advantages to lay the 2.5-points here for our first college basketball pick today.

Originally opening -10, Kansas has quickly ballooned to -11.5 over Creighton in the Round of 32. While Creighton has overachieved at numerous points, including their Round 1 win over San Diego State, their most recently injuries simply look too difficult to overcome. Losing Ryan Nembhard late in the year, Creighton lost its elite big man Ryan Kalkbrenner to a season-ending injury in its last game.
