This means he is not going to lose games for this team, helping out this dangerous defense even more.
Speaking of defense, they will feature Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram going after rookie Joe Burrow all day long. On the back end, Casey Hayward and Chris Harris will look to take away Burrow’s targets. While the top overall draft pick put together one of the best seasons in college football history, he’s back in Ohio and he plays for the Bengals. It could be a rude awakening in Week 1 for the rookie that rarely looked challenged at LSU.
