Super Bowl LV Odds Boosts To Watch | Travis Kelce + Tyreek Hill

When it comes to the Super Bowl, the prop bet market is arguably more popular than the typical bets on the big game. And there is nowhere better to look at the prop bets than the odds boosts, those wagers where sportsbooks shift the NFL odds ever so slightly in your favor. Due to the betting limits, these aren’t going to be the huge moneymakers, but we still search the sportsbooks to find the best value for your dollar. We scoured the internet in search of the best NFL picks for you, and there was no shortage of odds boosts for Super Bowl LV between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This post is going to focus on the odds boosts not involving the two quarterbacks and spreading the love to the receivers and defenses in this game.

While the quarterbacks are stealing all the headlines for obvious reasons, there are plenty of excellent odds boosts that have nothing to do with the signal-callers. There is a plethora of talented receivers who deserve our attention as well, like two of the best receiving tight ends ever. We’ll explore some odds boosts around Rob Gronkowski and Travis Kelce in this post as well as delve into some bets about Tyreek Hill. Plus, there are some excellent Super Bowl odds boosts about the game from the first score to the final score that we’ll discuss.

NFL Odds Boosts: Super Bowl LV Betting Picks

Rob Gronkowski 69+ Yards Receiving (+330 DraftKings)

Gronkowski has not played as large of a role in the Tampa Bay offense as many expected this season, but he’s still an important threat to watch in the Super Bowl. The tight end only exceeded 69 receiving yards twice this entire season, but one of those games was the Week 12 matchup with Kansas City. As good as the Chiefs’ secondary played against Buffalo in the AFC title game, there was space there in the middle against the Kansas City linebackers. Kansas City has enough to worry about with Tampa Bay’s receivers that this might be a game where Tom Brady is able to find Gronkowski for chunks of yards to keep drives moving.

In the regular season game between these two teams, Gronkowski tied a season high with six catches and gained a season-best 106 yards. He could easily replicate that type of performance, especially if the Chiefs focus their attention on slowing down Brady’s other weapons on the outside. It seems unlikely that Gronkowski will score in this game, but he’s the type of option to help Tampa Bay move the chains and stay on schedule while keeping Brady upright and out of pressure.

Tyreek Hill & Travis Kelce 2+ Combined Touchdowns (+100 PointsBet)

Hill and Kelce have been a dynamic duo the entire season, accounting for 26 of Kansas City’s 40 passing touchdowns during the regular season. In the postseason, Kelce has caught three touchdowns in two games while Hill has gained a lot of yardage but has been held out of the end zone thus far. Hill caught three touchdowns in Kansas City’s Week 12 win over Tampa Bay, so he’ll garner more attention from the Buccaneers this time around. But it is still going to be a chore to keep Hill’s speed in check for the Buccaneers defense, and that could mean an explosive play or two is possible from the speedster. We saw the different ways Hill could be utilized against Buffalo, and the Chiefs will likely try to get Hill involved even more early to test Tampa Bay’s ability to slow him down.

As for Kelce, he’s the biggest mismatch in the NFL at the moment and Kansas City knows it. Kelce has been targeted at least 10 times in six straight games and nine of his last 10, so the Chiefs are going to feed him as much as possible until someone proves they can slow him down. For the purposes of this bet, Kelce has also scored a touchdown in his last six games and eight of his previous 10 contests, so he’s always a good bet to find the end zone at some point. He actually didn’t score in Week 12, the last time he didn’t score a touchdown, but he’ll be the biggest beneficiary of any extra attention Tampa Bay decides to pay to Hill.

First Score is Chiefs Touchdown (+175 PointsBet)

Kansas City has been fairly inconsistent in how it starts games this season, but if the pattern holds, the Chiefs should be on the board first in the Super Bowl. Kansas City understands the importance of a fast start in the Super Bowl, though the Chiefs are very adept at making comebacks with Patrick Mahomes at the helm. The Chiefs were able to use a quick start to beat Tampa Bay in Week 12, and it’s easy to assume they learned a lot from how the Buccaneers defended them in the second half as Tampa Bay clawed back into the game. If we had to pinpoint a player to score that first touchdown, it’s easy to put the money on Hill at +705 NFL odds from DraftKings after his strong performance in the first meeting of the season with Tampa Bay.
