Monday features nine games to kick off the new week. The home stretch of the regular season is approaching, and there is still plenty of value on the board for making prop bets. Let’s dive into the player prop market and see who stands out and which lines to take advantage of.

NBA Prop Bet: Kevin Love Over 13.5 Points (+104)

Although it’s not a game with playoff implications, the Cavaliers are on the road today facing the dreadful Pistons. Despite the struggles, the Cavs are still 2.5-point road favorites. Part of the reason for that could be that Kevin Love is finally starting to play consistently after being hurt the entire season. His points prop today sits at 13.5, and given the surge in playing time and the opponent, the over seems like the prudent play.

The Latest Sports Betting Content from Stokastic Odds

The first thing to note is that Love has played nine games in April after playing just four the entire season. He is averaging 13.7 points per game this month, and more importantly, the minutes are in the mid-20s with upside to push around 30. Love has pushed over this mark in five of his last six games and now draws a Pistons defense in the bottom half of most defensive metrics this season. The game is expected to stay close, hence the 2.5-point spread, so Love’s minutes could push to the upper-20s. Given that situation and the fact Love is trending upward, now is the time to jump on his player props.

The final factor is the price, which is at plus-money on FanDuel (+104). That number is not likely to hold, but since it is available now, it is the perfect time to lock it in.
