College Football Picks: Iowa at Purdue: Iowa -3.5 (-104)
We know what we’re getting in Iowa here, where as Purdue will be missing some key pieces today. The Boilermakers will be without their head coach Jeff Brohm, along with their top WR Rondale Moore, which is sure to catch up to them. Meanwhile, I’m all about this trend for the Hawkeyes, which I caught on Twitter from Brad Powers. In its last 21 games as a road favorite, Iowa is 21-0 with an averaging margin of victory of 17.6, and 17-3-1 ATS, covering by 10.9 points per game.
I was able to grab -3 here earlier in the week, and OddsShopper is showing it move to -3.5 across the books. FanDuel saves you the most juice if you play the 3.5, but I still think finding -3 out there shouldn’t be an issue, even if it’s -115 or so.

College Football Picks: Alabama at Tennessee: Alabama Team Total: OVER 41.5 (-130)
Tennessee has been on a downward spiral the last two weeks, and even though its faced tougher competition, its still given up 44 points to Georgia, and 37 to Kentucky — not exactly squads known for their offense. Probably not a good time to run into ‘Bama, which is firing on all cylinders offensively. The Crimson Tide are averaging a whopping 52 points over their last three games, dropping 52 on Texas A&M, 63 on Ole Miss, and 41 on Georgia — and the Bulldogs are considered to have the nation’s best defense. Mac Jones is the first name behind Trevor Lawrence in the Heisman odds, and the group on RBs and WRs he has to worth with is laughable. ‘Bama’s going for another 50-burger here.
You can find this one up to 43.5 if you want to lay standard juice. Obviously I think it hits regardless, but I’ll pay a little but of a premium to win on 42 just in case. Alabama has already been bet up to -21.5 on the spread.
