Atlanta protected the ball overall in Game 6, turning it over just 12 times. However, the majority of them simply felt like bad turnovers. This comes down to discipline and experience, as does free throw shooting. That is where the Hawks lost the game. They shot just 13-for-24 from the line, making many wonder if Ben Simmons switched teams for this game. For them to win, they will need another dominant performance from Trae Young.
For the 76ers to win, they need Joel Embiid to go back to being unstoppable. Luckily, he has clearly been better at home in this series, averaging 38.7 points at home versus 22 in Atlanta. This is good news, but his 37 points in Game 5 also were not enough to get the win. If Simmons isn’t hitting free throws, he needs to be off the floor since he isn’t exactly stopping Young either.
In short, this will be a very good game.

Hawks vs. 76ers Prediction
We have seen games in Philly meaning more scoring in this series, so picking the over is certainly a good pick, assuming Simmons isn’t allowed to miss 10 free throws.
However, despite losing Game 6 at home, the Hawks’ confidence should still be at an all-time high. They are more than talented enough to move onto the Eastern Conference Finals or even the NBA Finals. While I don’t think they will, I also don’t expect them to roll over and die. The 76ers love to blow leads, and I think that is firmly in play in this game yet again.
