Montana De La Rosa is in a winnable fight here against Mayra Bueno Silva. De La Rosa has sharpened her boxing over the years, and this is a perfect opportunity to showcase it. De La Rosa can disguise her takedowns with her hands, and Silva has been susceptible to takedowns in her career. Silva is a plodding striker who relies on a heavy low-kick, and an active guard. De La Rosa will have to be careful as an armbar from guard is always a possibility. I favor the UFC experience of De La Rosa, and think she will walk away victorious.

Angela Hill via Decision -160

Angela Hill will be fighting Ashley Yoder in an unlikely rematch. Hill walked away victorious in their first encounter, and should be able to replicate it once again. Since their first fight, both women have improved significantly, as it was four years ago. Hill is an excellent striker for the division with incredible volume and speed. Yoder will look to clinch up with Hill early and often in order to neutralize the threat on the feet. Years ago, Hill was a liability on the mat, but has since improved. I foresee this fight going the distance and I favor the aggression and output of Hill to win via decision.

Kevin Croom is a wild fighter who will be taking on Alex Caceres. Both fighters have paid their dues and have a wealth of experience in the cage. Caceres has grown up under the UFC banner, and has displayed his karate striking, and slick jiu-jitsu. Croom looks to close distance quickly and will initiate action from the start. Croom is now under the tutelage of James Krause, who has been developing top-notch talent. I like Croom’s aggressiveness in this fight as he possesses skills in all departments, knockout ability and slick submissions. I think this fight will be won in the clinch, and I favor Croom to win those exchanges.
