The NFL world was shocked last week, as the Chiefs suffered their first loss of the season. What was most surprising, however, was that it came from the divisional Raiders. The Chiefs were unable to stop the Raiders offense, giving up 490 yards with 346 coming through the air. Las Vegas was also able to dominate the time of possession, with the Chiefs having the ball for just 24:42.
The Chiefs’ offense still put up over 400 yards, but look for them to put on a show in prime time. They will be without Sammy Watkins, and the newly-acquired Le’Veon Bell cannot play until next week, but Kansas City still has enough offensive firepower to run the field in a hurry. They were given the blueprint from the Titans’ passing offense last week, as Ryan Tannehill passed for three touchdowns against the Bills.
Buffalo got dominated last Tuesday, and a big reason for this was quarterback Josh Allen‘s inability to adjust. The defense threw different looks at him and took away the underneath options, which led to a lackluster game from the then-MVP candidate. The offense welcomes back Josh Brown, which gives Allen another deep weapon. They also get rookie running back Zack Moss, to complement Devin Singletary. Still, Allen will need to be sharp because we know the Chiefs will be scoring in this game.
