Rams vs Buccaneers Game Info

Los Angeles Rams (6-3, 2-3 Away) vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-3, 3-1 Home)
Date: Monday, Nov. 23, 2020
Time: 8:15 p.m. EST
Venue: Raymond James Stadium — Tampa, FL
Coverage: ESPN

The Rams are coming off a tough divisional loss to the Seahawks. However, the greater loss in that game had to be losing Andrew Whitworth. The veteran tackle was not only the leader of the front line but one of the leaders of the entire team. His loss will be felt on Monday night, as Todd Bowles will bring the pressure to test the inexperienced replacement. If Jared Goff sees a lot of pressure, it could be a long night for the Rams.

Goff continues to be among the worst quarterbacks under pressure. When he has been pressured this season, he has a 38.5% completion rate, 36.8 passer rating and two touchdowns to four interceptions.

On the other side, Bruce Arians said this week that the Buccaneers are a “really tired team,” so much so that he used this week as a mini bye, with no practice until Thursday. He is hoping the extra rest helps his tired team start out faster. Through 10 weeks, the Buccaneers are averaging 6.5 first quarter points, which is good for eighth best in the league. However, their defense allows 6.6 first quarter points, which is the sixth worst in the NFL. Getting out to a lead will be important in this matchup, as it will allow the leader to unleash the pass rush and test the opposing offensive line, which is suspect for both teams.
