Happy Friday readers! It’s bound to be an entertaining evening with a total of 10 games taking place across the Association. There’s no better way to kickstart the weekend than with some winning NBA betting odds and picks. We certainly have a lot of games to choose from tonight. Featured in today’s column are NBA player props and predictions for Mo Bamba, Anthony Edwards and Reggie Bullock.
Yesterday’s NBA Player Props Recap
We had yet another profitable day on Thursday, hitting two of our three NBA player props. Pascal Siakam went bananas with 44 points and also smashed the over on 3.5 assists. Ivica Zubac also came through for us going over the NBA betting line of 6.5 rebounds. Despite once again seeing over 30 minutes, Jalen McDaniels failed to replicate his double-double effort from Tuesday and feel shy of 5.5 rebounds. Even so, a great week continued.Â

Mo Bamba Over 11.5 Rebounds
The Magic may be terrible, but the ever-evolving rotation and massive list of names on the injury report continue to afford us bettors opportunities. Tonight seems like a great time to hop aboard the Bamba hype train. Chuma Okeke, Terrence Ross, James Ennis and Otto Porter will all remain sidelined for Orlando’s game this evening against the Hornets. But the name to join them on Friday’s injury report that will have an even greater direct impact on Bamba is fellow center Wendell Carter. At the time of writing, it’s really only Bamba and Moritz Wagner left in the Magic frontcourt. Minutes and usage will be no issue when handicapping Bamba’s NBA betting lines.
On top of all that, Bamba has been playing exceptional basketball of late. This includes the last two games when Carter was indeed in the lineup. Bamba has recorded double-double efforts in three of the last four games. Rebounding opportunities figure to be plentiful tonight, as the Hornets rank just 21st in team field-goal percentage on the season. Of course, Orlando is dead last in said category. A big game from Bamba on Friday is a solid NBA prediction.
Anthony Edwards Under 22.5 Points
Edwards has certainly had himself a week. After 25- and 29-point outings in back-to-back games, Edwards shot 17-for-22 on Wednesday, including 8-for-9 on 3-pointers, on his way to dropping 42 points. He has even been getting it done in the rebound and assist categories. This is the player the Timberwolves envisioned when they took Edwards with the top pick in last year’s draft.
As impressive as this week has been from Edwards, projecting him to shoot anywhere close to what he did on Wednesday in tonight’s matchup is ill-advised. The Awesemo NBA Betting Player Props Tool echoes this sentiment. Despite this, the oddsmakers have set Edwards’ points total at 22.5 for Friday’s road game against the Heat. Yes, he’s gone over that number in three straight, but remember that Edwards is averaging a tick below 19 points per game on the season. Furthermore, the Heat rank fourth in the NBA in scoring defense on the season and have a way of making buckets hard to come by. Do not overthink taking the under on this lofty prop line tonight.

Reggie Bullock Under 2.5 Made 3-Pointers
Bullock has proven he doesn’t need extended minutes to put up plenty of 3-pointers. In 24 minutes of action on Wednesday, he still managed to drill a trio of triples on seven total attempts from beyond the arc. Fading a 3-point specialist among tonight’s NBA betting picks may seem suspect, but a quick glance at the updated Knicks injury report serves as major grounds for this play.
Bullock has seen his playing time benefit from the extended absence of small forward Alec Burks. Friday’s injury report officially lists Burks as day-to-day rather than the declarative “out.” If he returns to the court tonight, Bullock could find himself under a bit of a time crunch when it comes to exceeding the NBA player props line of 2.5 made triples. The fact that New York will be taking on a Suns team that is top five on the season at defending shots from beyond the arc also doesn’t help matters. Bullock will hit one or two, but three is easier said than done. Take a shot on the profitable plus-money odds and play the under.
