Another seven games are scheduled for this evening across the Association. Note that six of them are scheduled to tip at or before 8 p.m. ET, so don’t miss out on making some NBA betting picks. Among Tuesday’s NBA prediction lineup are prop bets for Jalen McDaniels, DeAndre Jordan and Delon Wright.
Yesterday’s NBA Player Props Recap
We swept the board on Saturday and did so again on Monday. Not only that, but a pair of yesterday’s NBA player props had plus-money odds attached at the time of recommendations. Isaiah Stewart and P.J. Dozier each came in under their rebound totals of 10.5 and 3.5, respectively. Add in a rough shooting night from R.J. Barrett and the under on 19.5 points also hit. It’s always nice to start the week off by gaining 3.25 units.
NBA Betting Prediction: NBA Player Props | May 4
Jalen McDaniels Over 5.5 Rebounds
Over the past few games, it has become quite clear that McDaniels has fallen out of favor in the Hornets’ rotation. His minutes have steadily declined as the team has gotten healthier around him. But after exploding for 7 points and nine rebounds in just 15 minutes of action against the same Pistons team that Charlotte will face tonight, McDaniels got another opportunity on Sunday. After racking up 12 points, nine rebounds and two assists in 27 minutes, there is reason to be bullish on him.

What really puts this NBA betting opportunity over the top as one of the top picks tonight is the Hornets’ injury situation. Of course, Gordon Hayward remains sidelined, but Charlotte will also be without Miles Bridges, P.J. Washington and Cody Martin on Tuesday. James Borrego will really have no choice but to give McDaniels a lot of minutes tonight. There is a real chance McDaniels could play 30-plus against a Pistons squad that ranks 21st in team rebounding on the season. Based on what the 23-year-old has done in the last two contests, there’s no reason to think he won’t exceed 5.5 rebounds again with the benefit of additional playing time.Â
DeAndre Jordan Under 6.5 Points
Among the bets the Awesemo NBA Betting Player Props Tool favors on Tuesday is playing under 6.5 total points for Jordan at even-money odds. It pretty much goes without saying that Jordan simply isn’t the same player that he was in his prime. With that said, many still hold his name in high regard, which can be beneficial when it comes to hunting for NBA betting value. In reality, Jordan is nothing more than the third-string center on this Nets team. That is a role he will return to tonight, as Nicolas Claxton has officially returned from a stint on the virus list. Even with Claxton out, Jordan was playing behind Jeff Green and only exceeded 25 minutes once in the last six games he has dressed for.
Unless Brooklyn is adamant Jordan is the best matchup for Brook Lopez, he will be lucky to see 20 tonight. With Kevin Durant also set to play, fewer scoring opportunities will be available for all Nets frontcourt players. The value here is simply too good to pass up.
Delon Wright Under 7.5 Assists
Even with De’Aaron Fox remaining sidelined, it’s impossible not to look under an NBA betting line of 7.5 assists for Wright. The other factor impacting tonight’s game is the fact that Tyrese Haliburton will also not be available. Wright is averaging only five assists per game on the season. Yes, Sacramento is banged up, but that’s not grounds for an NBA prediction that Wright will exceed his season assists average by three or more.
Wright has only even come close to exceeding 7.5 assists once in the last 10 games. That was four days ago when he dished out seven dimes in 27 minutes against the Lakers. He had five in 31 minutes against the Mavericks on Sunday. Even though the Kings’ injury situation and tonight’s opponent, the Thunder, both serve as points of optimism, this line is too high. Kyle Guy and Terence Davis will both likely step up to help fill the depleted Sacramento backcourt. On top of all that, these two teams are just downright awful.
