Yesterday’s NBA Player Props Recap

Unfortunately, Russell Westbrook broke Oscar Robertson’s record did it at our expense, as we faded the NBA betting market juice and attempted to play under 13.5 assists last night. Twenty-one assists later, and all you can do is tip your cap to greatness. Luckily, both Isaac Okoro and Jordan Poole smashed the over on their respective NBA player props for total points, resulting in us hitting two of our three plays on the day. It served as a solid start to the week and set the table nicely for Tuesday’s massive slate.

NBA Betting Prediction: NBA Player Props | May 11

Facundo Campazzo Under 6.5 Assists

Facundo Campazzo NBA betting picks tonight predictions player prop

It is no secret that the Nuggets are hurting big time in the backcourt. Campazzo has found himself playing big minutes in recent weeks as a result of the team’s injury situation. While he has played well, including a 19-point, five-assist outing in Denver’s most recent game on Saturday, Campazzo has lacked consistency when it comes to the number of assists he dishes per game. Only twice in the last six games has he distributed more than tonight’s NBA betting line of 6.5. The Awesemo OddsShopper Tool shows that the market is moving on this wager, so jumping on this line quickly while the value remains available is advised.

Kendrick Nunn Over 12.5 Points

One NBA betting picks option that the Awesemo NBA Player Props Tool is very fond of for Tuesday’s card is Nunn to exceed 12.5 total points. It is hard to disagree when one digs into the numbers and situation further.

Nunn’s season scoring average sits comfortably over tonight’s line at 14.2. While he has notably come up just shy with exactly 12 points in each of Miami’s last two games, Nunn also uncharacteristically saw fewer than 30 minutes in each of those contests. He will undoubtedly be in line for some added run against the Celtics tonight. It is known for certain that Victor Oladipo won’t be returning to take any of his minutes away, so backing Nunn to go over appears to be a solid NBA prediction.

Ivica Zubac (LAC) Over 7.5 Rebounds

Ivica Zubac NBA betting picks Stephen Curry

Zubac has filled in admirably for starting Clippers center Serge Ibaka over the course of his lengthy absence. Zubac has been as consistent as can be on the glass. Not once in the last 10 games has Zubac recorded fewer than six rebounds. His season rebound average is now up to 7.3 per game, a number that Zubac has exceeded in each of the last three outings. Tonight the Clippers take on a Raptors team that ranks dead last in the NBA in team rebounding. And that’s with a full roster, something that the Raptors won’t have anything close to tonight. The only thing that could really keep Zubac from having a big night on the boards is if he is among the Clippers players who take on reduced minutes in an inevitable blowout.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIL) Under 9.5 Rebounds

Giannis Antetokounmpo

At first glance, one might consider this NBA betting picks recommendation to be crazy. While backing the under on Antetokounmpo’s total rebounds prop may seem a bit counterproductive given that he will be up against the lowly Magic tonight, this fact could actually play right into bettors’ hands.

Milwaukee is assured of a spot in the Eastern Conference postseason and would undoubtedly love to preserve Antetokounmpo as much as possible. It is hard to envision the Magic keeping tonight’s game competitive for long. Giannis only played 29 minutes in a comfortable win over the Spurs yesterday, suggesting that Mike Budenholzer may look to reduce his minutes once again tonight. Antetokounmpo may be averaging well over the line of 9.5 boards, but game script is the critical component behind this NBA prediction.

Stephen Curry (GSW) Under 6.5 Made 3-Pointers

Stephen Curry

This one is tough to include. Curry leads the league in scoring, and his 3-point shooting has been simply unreal. An NBA betting line for a player to go over or under 6.5 made triples is really mind-blowing in itself. However, Curry has in fact exceeded it in five of the Warriors’ last nine games. He is shooting 42.6% from deep on the season and has attempted a minimum of 13 shots from beyond the arc in eight of the last nine outings. But 6.5 made 3-pointers is a ton, especially for the second game of a back-to-back. That is exactly the situation Golden State finds themselves in tonight. Curry may have nailed the game-winner yesterday, but he shot just 3-for-13 from long range. Tired legs and a Suns defense that ranks sixth in 3-point defense are a combination that screams under.
