Doug McDermott Under 11.5 Points

McDermott has shot the ball well from the field and from beyond the 3-point line overall. However, he is averaging fewer than seven shots a game, and his usage rate is 13.9%. He has also reached double figures twice in five appearances, with 37 of his 48 points coming against Milwaukee and Orlando due to him knocking down 9 of 14 3-pointers in those two games. Orlando has done a pretty good job at defending the 3-point line, and opposing small forwards are making only 2.8 3’s a game at a 29.8% clip against the Magic. McDermott is projected for 9.46 points tonight against Orlando. Awesemo gives the under a 70% chance of hitting and an expected ROI of 36%.

Cole Anthony Over 5.5 Rebounds

Anthony is off to an excellent start to his sophomore season. However, he is coming off a poor shooting performance against Boston (Wednesday), as he connected on 4 of 18 (22%) shots from the field, marking the third time in eight games that he has made less than 25% of his attempts=. Anthony averages 18.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 5.4 assists on the year. He is projected for 7.23 rebounds tonight against the Spurs, as he is grabbing a defensive rebound at an 18.4% rate, which is exceptional for a guard. The over has a 74% chance of hitting and an expected ROI of 40%.

Anthony Edwards Over 5.5 Rebounds and Under 4.5 Assists

Edwards is coming off one of his best all-around performances. He tallied 28 points on 11 of 21 shooting, including 8 of 11 on 2-point shots, to go along with six assists, three rebounds, one block and three steals, although he also committed a season-high six turnovers against the Clippers. Expect Edwards to do some work against the Clippers once again, although do not expect the same output as on Wednesday. He averages 23.9 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists at home this season. The Clippers defense has held opposing small forwards to a league-best 14.4 points a game. However, it has been a different story on the road, as opposing small forwards are averaging 23 points, 10 rebounds and 4.3 assists.

Edwards is projected for 7.19 rebounds and 3.69 assists tonight against the Clippers. Awesemo gives the over on the rebound total a 73% chance of occurring and an expected ROI of 39%. Meanwhile, the under on the assist total has a 71% chance of hitting and an expected ROI of 35%.

Caris LeVert Under 4.5 Rebounds

LeVert is still rounding into shape after missing the Pacers’ first six games. He is coming off his best game against the Knicks on Wednesday, as he saw a season-high 31 minutes. However, LeVert is not a good rebounder, and he only has five boards this year (1.7 per game). He is projected for 3.09 rebounds tonight against the Trail Blazers. The under has an 81% of hitting and an expected ROI of 35%.

Keldon Johnson Under 6.5 Rebounds

Johnson has been inconsistent on the glass this year, and he has only a 10% rebounding rate. He is projected for 5.62 rebounds against the Magic, who have done a solid job keeping opposing forwards off the boards this year. The under has an 81% chance of hitting and an expected ROI of 35%.
