A big reason for their recent success has been the play of Jayson Tatum. He has averaged 29.4 points on 51.1% shooting and 8.6 rebounds during the month of April. After a big road trip, the Lakers return home tonight. It is their third game in four days, and they went 2-1 in the previous three games. It comes down to depth and quality of depth. While the Lakers can play defense, I don’t trust them to score over 110 points, whereas the Celtics have enough quality players for someone to get hot and create the mismatch. The spread is a bit wider than ideal, but I will side with the Celtics, where it currently is. This is a spread that will likely move during the day once the Lakers probable are ruled active. Fans of teasers could go with both the Lakers and the under now, parlaying them together.
