NBA Betting Picks & Predictions | Top NBA Player Props

San Antonio Spurs at Los Angeles Clippers: Keldon Johnson OVER 19.5 points, rebounds, assists (-135, DraftKings) AND Dejounte Murray OVER 24.5 points, rebounds, assists (-110, DraftKings>

First things first, we have to issue a disclaimer on these plays: the currently questionable LaMarcus Aldridge must be ruled out before we lock our bets — Aldridge’s knee injury has kept him out the last three games. His absence creates the opportunity these NBA betting picks require.

Once LMA is ruled out, we will be clear to ride with a troupe of guys that should see plenty of opportunities in this game. If you play one, Johnson is my preference among our NBA player props. He was playing big minutes even before Aldridge was hurt, and managed to hit the over on this mark in all three games he played. We’ve seen him in an expanded role with Aldridge out, which we can expect will make it easier for him to reach the over. Johnson stayed under this mark in a blowout loss to the Lakers, but went for a 26-10-1 line in 35 minutes in a rematch against the Lakers, and followed it with 22-7-2 in 28 minutes against the Jazz. There is a good chance Johnson reaches this over whether or not Aldridge plays, but the veteran forward’s absence would be the extra boost we really need to get an edge.

Dejounte Murray has  been up and down this season, and the Spurs were expecting Derrick White to be back by now. White returned for one game, and Murray struggled with a 12-8-1 line, but he will remain out tonight. In the previous game in the same matchup, Murray finished with a 29-7-7 line. Murray went over this prop in three of the first four games of the season, and I think each of the last two games qualify as unique circumstances. One was the game White was out, the other was just a dreadful shooting night — 1-for-13 in just 26 minutes in a blowout loss to the Jazz. Look for a bounce-back to that early season projection here, making this one of the better NBA player props and one of our top NBA betting picks.
