NBA Odds: Prop Bets for Aug. 4
Nikola Vucevic – Points (Over 20.5)
Myles Turner struggles against traditional centers that will go at him in the paint, and Vucevic will do just that today. Vucevic has been great in the bubble thus far, scoring 22 and 23 points in the first two games. This is also in limited playing time, logging 27 and 24 minutes in those games, respectively, due to the Magic being firmly in control of both games. With the matchup against the Pacers expected to be competitive, Vucevic should play over 30 minutes, which should be plenty of time for him to hit the over on this NBA prop bet.
Russell Westbrook – PTS+REB+AST (Over 44.5)
The beef between Russell Westbook and Damian Lillard is well documented, and it brings the best out of both point guards. In three games this season, Westbrook is averaging 32.7 points, 11.3 rebounds and 9.3 assists against the Blazers. He has hit the over for this combined total in each of the three games. Westbrook has hit over this combined total in both of his bubble games as well, putting up 50 and 45.
You can also feel free to plug in the over bet on Westbrook’s points, which is currently at 29.5 in the NBA odds.
Jusuf Nurkic – PTS+AST (Over 22.5)
Playing in their small-ball lineup, the Rockets will have zero answer for 7-footer Jusuf Nurkic. In the same way, Kristaps Porzingis scored 39 and Brook Lopez scored 23. Nurkic should turn in a productive outing today.
Nurkic has scored 18 and 30 in his first two games, respectively. The big man has also been a solid passer when the defense collapses on him, resulting in Nurkic totaling five assists in each game.
