Favorite NBA Odds and NBA Bets for Aug. 13
Washington Wizards (+2.5) vs Boston Celtics
Can you feel it? Today is the day that the Wizards get their first win in the bubble. The Celtics are resting all of their starters, giving Washington an even matchup. Depth and familiarity will be on the Wizards’ side today, as will post play. I don’t think the Celtics will match up well with Thomas Bryant or Rui Hachimura, and those two will ultimately ensure their team doesn’t get fully skunked in Orlando. I am actually OK with betting on the moneyline for slightly better odds.

Milwaukee Bucks vs Memphis Grizzlies (-2.5)
Giannis Antetokounmpo is suspended for the Bucks today, which isn’t really a punishment at all. The rest of the Bucks’ main cast should be limited today, as they have no need to win this game. The Grizzlies, however, need to win in order for them to have a chance to compete for the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference. With their backs up against the wall, look for Ja Morant and Jonas Valanciunas to come through and get the win today.

Carmelo Anthony – Points (Over 15.5)
The NBA odds and lines are all over the place today, even if they are available. That is why we take a look at NBA prop bets for today to find our final favorite bet.
Anthony continues his improved play in the bubble. The veteran has put up 20+ points in three straight games. Aside from him simply playing better, he has also taken on a bit more of the offensive load, with guard C.J. McCollum reportedly playing through a fractured back. Anthony has averaged 15 shot attempts and five free throw attempts over the last three games. Facing a weaker Nets team in yet another must-win game, Anthony should continue to come through for Portland.
