Same Game Parlay of the Night: Best NBA Picks & Parlays Tonight | 1/19/22

Same-game parlays are one of the most exciting new forms of betting on sports. Not only are the payouts potentially massive, but they can also be +EV. Since all of the wagers take place in the same contest, it allows you to craft a narrative that can pay off royally if it hits. Same-game parlays become even better with the help of OddsShopper. It allows you to view all of the different wagers available for each game compared to the Awesemo NBA Projections. The wider the gap between the line and the projection, the more +EV the wager. This allows you to find the best NBA betting picks easily. Let us dive into some of the best NBA picks and parlays tonight.

Same Game NBA Picks and Parlays: Nets against Wizards

The first step is finding which sport you are going to wager on, so the banner at the top of the screen has the sports separated. Once you are on the NBA page, it is super simple to customize what you are looking for as far as teams and players on the left-hand side of the page.

Now, if you miss one of the odds highlighted in the article because it changed, do not worry. The lines do not always stay the same as they are updated every two minutes. There will be examples of when you can still wager based on the Awesemo projections. It is also easy to sort the props by what style you want to bet them, meaning that you can choose the highest ROI or the highest expected win rate.

Generally, the best approach is a mix of the highest ROI and expected win rate, and this process should take under 30 seconds to filter what you are looking for. The highlighted wagers in the article can also be bet individually, so if the parlay misses by one leg, it is not a total loss.

Day’Ron Sharpe Under 9.5 Points and Under 7.5 Rebounds

Sharpe has had a solid stretch for the Nets recently. He has started each of the past four games, and he has averaged 11.5 points and 7.3 rebounds over that time frame. However, it does not seem like his run will last much longer. LaMarcus Aldridge returned to the lineup in the Nets’ last game, and he figures to eventually replace him in the starting lineup.

Even if Aldridge comes off the bench again on Wednesday, he should start to cut into Sharpe’s playing time. Aldridge saw just 22.5 minutes in his first game back, but Awesemo projects him for 27.2 minutes against the Wizards. Those extra minutes are going to have to come from somewhere, and Sharpe is the most logical choice.

With that in mind, these lines seem too high. The under on his scoring prop has an expected win rate of 64% on OddsShopper, while the under on his rebound prop has an expected win rate of 79%.

James Harden Under 26.5 Points

Harden is obviously an incredible basketball player, especially when it comes to scoring. He will also benefit from the absence of Kevin Durant for the foreseeable future. He has going to have to do some heavy lifting for the Nets, but he will get some help on Wednesday in the form of Kyrie Irving.

Irving is still limited to only road games for the Nets, and tonight’s contest is in Washington. In their last game without Durant, Irving operated as the team’s primary scoring threat, racking up 23 shot attempts to Harden’s 12. Harden did get to the free throw line 15 times in that contest, but he still finished with just 22 points. Overall, Harden has posted a usage rate of just 23.7% when sharing the court with Irving but with Durant sidelined. That number will probably rise moving forward – the current sample size is very small – but it suggests that this number is a bit too high.

Spencer Dinwiddie Over 5.5 Assists and Over 4.5 Rebounds

Both of these props are available at better than even money at certain locations, making them very appealing to add to our single-game parlay. Both have an expected return on investment of at least 15%, and adding these two wagers to the previous three brings the potential payout to approximately +1820.

Dinwiddie has lost some responsibilities with Bradley Beal returning to the lineup, but he is still one of their primary facilitators. He racked up seven assists in their last contest, and he did it in just 27.2 minutes. He should see more minutes if this game against the Nets is competitive, so asking him to get six is reasonable.

The rebounding over is a bit dicier, but he has averaged a career-high 4.5 rebounds per game this season. The Nets are also a below-average rebounding team, ranking just 19th in team rebound rate. Overall, he can exceed his season average in this spot.
