NBA Picks & Parlays Tonight: Best Longshot Bets & Player Props Friday 3/4/22

The NBA slate has nine games tonight with eight of those nine games featuring a spread under 10 points. The lone exception is the Denver Nuggets facing the Houston Rockets, but four games are at a total of 229 or higher. There are plenty of paths to take tonight with OddsShopper to guide the way.

This is a perfect opportunity to use Awesemo OddsShopper to make some of the best NBA parlay picks today. Using this fantastic site and basketball betting tips can help place smart wagers in an easy-to-use fashion and maximize the ROI on the wagers. It is truly betting made simple, as it guides you in how to bet on sports, helping you find the best bet in 30 seconds or less.

Longshot NBA Parlay Picks & Player Props Today

The first step is finding the brand new Parlay Builder for OddsShopper. It is located on the top banner and is just one click away. This tool is a game-changer because the Awesemo data scientists have built the parlay already. The user has the choice of what type of parlay they prefer to chase, and the state is customizable along with the sportsbook. Though it is rare, underdogs eventually have their day, and when they do, the payouts are nice. Here are our best bets for underdogs if you like to fade the favorites and cheer for the upset at high odds. As a reminder, betting the props individually is always a smart way to build your bankroll. An underdog parlay is not exactly the most stable return if it is always being bet just as a parlay. Let’s find out what the best-projected bets are for Friday on Caesars and build some NBA parlay picks on OddsShopper!

Darius Garland Under 3.5 Rebounds

This is not a strong spot for Darius Garland to hit the glass as the Cleveland Cavaliers face the Philadelphia 76ers. Not only does this game feature Jarrett Allen, Evan Mobley and Joel Embiid (they all average eight rebounds per game), but James Harden is now on the scene for the 76ers and he is averaging eight rebounds per game himself. Garland is averaging 3.3 rebounds per game this year, with the vast majority coming outside of six feet of the basket. Cleveland is seventh in rebounds allowed outside of the paint but that is where Harden cleans up as well. Garland has also been fighting a back issue for the past few weeks, so this NBA player prop for Garland seems like a solid bet, and OddsShopper has an expected win rate of 63%.

Malcolm Brogdon Over 18.5 Points

One aspect of this wager that brings some comfort is the number of minutes Malcolm Brogdon played in his last game (41) and even though it was an overtime game, that suggests his recent Achilles issue is not a problem. With an expectation of 35 minutes for the Indiana Pacers when they face the Detroit Pistons, Brogdon has a 54% expected win rate from OddShopper to score 19 points or more, according to the NBA projections. Brogdon is playing with some new teammates like Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield but he is still fifth in drives to the basket so far this year and is scoring 8.5 points from that play. In addition, Brogdon is also scoring 7.9 points per game as the pick-and-roll ball-handler, while Detroit is 10th in points allowed and sixth in field goal percentage allowed in the play type. Some sportsbooks do have this NBA player prop bet at -105 but as always, shop for your best odds.

The Latest Sports Betting Content from Stokastic Odds

Bobby Portis Over 8.5 Rebounds

The expected win rate from OddsShopper is 52% on this wager but Bobby Portis is averaging 9.1 rebounds on the season for the Milwaukee Bucks. Anytime there is a wager available under the seasonal average, it is worth a strong look. The Bucks take on the Chicago Bulls tonight and this contest has the highest total of the night at 240 points, so getting a player from it makes a lot of sense. The Bulls also played last night in a hard-fought game against the Atlanta Hawks and this is a tough turnaround. Portis is projected for 8.8 rebounds, so it is close, but Chicago is just 28th in rebounding overall and 17th in rebounds allowed in the paint. Portis does most of his rebounding inside of six feet at 6.8 per game and with Chicago’s tired legs, this is a great pick to add to the NBA parlay at a +100 ROI.

R.J. Barrett Over 3.5 Assists

The four-leg Longshot NBA parlay nets a return of +1657 according to the Awesemo NBA Parlay Calculator and that would be a great way to build the bankroll. The New York Knicks are in Phoenix to take on the injured Suns, and Barrett has been blossoming into the player the Knicks hoped for in the past few weeks. Since the calendar has flipped to January, Barrett has averaged 24 points per game, six rebounds and 3.5 assists while playing almost 38 minutes per night. That has translated to a 29.1% usage rate and 16.9% assist rate, but he will have his hands full tonight with Mikal Bridges from the Suns. Bridges has a 105.9 defensive rating and is widely regarded as one of the best wing defenders in basketball. That could lead Barrett to pass just a little bit more and the expected win rate from OddsShopper is 68%. Barrett has shown a ceiling in this category as he has dished out six and seven assists in the past two games as well.
