MUST-BET NBA Picks & Parlays Tonight: Best Longshot Bets & Player Props Tuesday 3/1/22

The NBA schedule moves forward tonight with a six-game slate, including a showdown out west between a desperate Los Angeles Lakers team and the Dallas Mavericks. Hopefully the slate is more competitive than last night’s, as there were lopsided scores everywhere. All six games are within an 8-point spread, so that helps when deciding what props to chase tonight to build a winning NBA parlay.

That means it is time to use Awesemo OddsShopper to build some of the best NBA picks and parlays today. Using this fantastic site and all of its NBA betting tips can help place smart wagers in an easy-to-use fashion and maximize the ROI on the wagers. It is truly betting made simple since you can find the best bet in 30 seconds or less.

Longshot NBA Picks & Parlays, Player Prop Bets Tonight

The first step is finding the brand new Parlay Builder for OddsShopper. It is located on the top banner and is just one click away. This tool is a game changer because the Awesemo data scientists have built the parlay already. The user has the choice of what type of parlay they prefer to chase, and the state is customizable along with the sportsbook. Though it is rare, underdogs eventually have their day, and when they do, the payouts are oh so nice. Here are our best bets for underdogs if you like to fade the favs and cheer for the upset at high odds. As a reminder, betting the props individually is always a smart way to build your bankroll. An underdog parlay is not exactly the most stable return if it is always being bet just as a parlay. Let us find out what the best-projected bets are for Tuesday and build some NBA parlays today.

Reggie Jackson Over 20.5 Points

The ROI on this wager is +100, and it is a large number for Reggie Jackson, but that is what happens against the Houston Rockets. Jackson’s Los Angeles Clippers play the Rockets for the second time in three days, and this will actually be the third time out of four games these teams have faced off. Jackson only played 26 minutes in the first meeting and scored 12 points, but he scored 26 in this past meeting despite shooting just 9-for-21 from the field that night. The minutes were spiked at 38, and he is sitting at a 30% usage rate without Paul George and Kawhi Leonard on the court. Jackson’s shot can come and go, but both of these teams are in the top half of the league in pace. Plus, Houston is dead last in defensive rating, and this bet has a 62% expected win rate from OddsShopper.

Scottie Barnes Under 0.5 Blocks

The Toronto Raptors host the Brooklyn Nets tonight in the second game of a home-and-home series, and Scottie Barnes was an absolute force last night. He hardly missed any shots from the field and gobbled up 16 rebounds, but that is going to be a big ask to replicate. What should not be much of an issue are Barnes’ minutes, as he is averaging 35 minutes and 0.8 blocks per game. That is not even in the top 50 of the league this season. While Barnes is going to be relied upon even more defensively with the absence of O.G. Anunoby, blocks are very difficult to predict. The trio of Kyrie Irving, Patty Mills and Seth Curry can all shoot from any area of the court, but blocking shots on the perimeter can be a little difficult. Irving is only driving to the hoop 12.6 times per game, and while that likely will go up without Kevin Durant, Barnes is far from guaranteed to record a block tonight. OddsShopper has an expected win rate of 52%, and the ROI of +130 is very appealing.

Update – Irving is out tonight and the Nets could also be without Cam Thomas and Andre Drummond, who are both questionable.

Patrick Beverley Over 4.5 Rebounds

The Minnesota Timberwolves are seventh in the Western Conference standings, and they will attempt to fight out of the play-in game tonight against the Golden State Warriors. Patrick Beverley is going to be needed as much as he can play to contain Stephen Curry since Klay Thompson is out for the Warriors; 30 minutes should be a baseline for him. Beverley is averaging 26 minutes per game, but he is on the floor mostly for his defense, averaging 9.2 points per night. He is also averaging 4.3 rebounds, so it will not take much more than his season average to hit this number. Golden State is a tough matchup for rebounds, as they are eighth overall and in the top six in rebounds allowed in and out of the paint this season. However, Beverley is a tenacious player, and three of his rebounds per game come outside of six feet. That gives him a chance to avoid Kevon Looney and Karl-Anthony Towns in the interior, and these teams are first and third in 3-point field goals attempted in the league. That can lead to longer rebounds, and OddsShopper has an expected win rate of 62%.

Kyle Kuzma Over 4.5 Assists

Kuzma and the Washington Wizards play the Detroit Pistons tonight — not exactly a marquee game but one that offers a strong wager. The Wizards made significant trades on Feb. 10, dealing multiple rotation players away. Since that time, Kuzma has a usage rate of 29.8% but also has an assist rate of 23.1%. Kuzma has played seven games since the deadline, and he is averaging 5.6 assists per game and 8.9 potential assists as well. In a game facing the team that ranks 25th in defensive rating, it is a great spot to get a lower number for Kuzma at an ROI of +105, and it is a perfect addition to the parlay. The Awesemo Parlay Calculator gives a return of +1927 for this full play, while Kyle Kuzma himself has an expected win rate of 53% from OddsShopper
