Celtics vs. Warriors Same Game NBA Picks & Parlays Tonight | 3/16/22

Wednesday is the final night before the NCAA Tournament gets into full swing, and the NBA is taking advantage. They have 12 games lined up for this evening, including a heavyweight showdown between the Celtics and Warriors. The Celtics have been one of the best teams in basketball recently, while the Warriors are getting closer to full strength. Overall, this should be a thoroughly enjoyable contest. Let’s dive into some NBA betting tips tonight and how to find the best NBA picks and parlays for March 16.

Same Game NBA Picks and Parlay: Celtics vs. Warriors

The first step is finding which sport you are going to wager on, so the banner at the top of the screen has the sports separated. Once on the NBA page, it is super simple to customize teams and players on the left-hand side of the page.

Now, if you miss one of the odds highlighted in the article because it changed, do not worry. The lines do not always stay the same as they are updated every two minutes. There will be examples of when you can still wager based on the Awesemo projections. It is also easy to sort the props by what style you want to bet them, meaning that you can choose the highest ROI or the highest expected win rate.

Generally, the best approach is a mix of the highest ROI and expected win rate, and this process should take under 30 seconds to filter what you are looking for. The highlighted wagers in the article can also be bet individually, so if the parlay misses by one leg, it is not a total loss.

Klay Thompson Over 2.5 Assists and Over 3.5 Rebounds

Thompson is not known for his ability to pile up peripheral stats. He’s averaged just 3.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game for his career, but he has been a bit better in those departments this season. He’s averaged four rebounds and 2.9 assists over his 23 games, and he’s done it in an average of just 27.1 minutes.

That said, Thompson’s playing time is on the rise. He’s played at least 33.2 minutes in four straight games as the team continues to ramp him up before the playoffs. That gives him added upside that isn’t being priced into his props. He’s recorded at least four rebounds in three of his past four games, so his rebounding prop is particularly appealing. The over on his assist prop doesn’t feature the same expected win rate per OddsShopper, but it is available at +130. That actually makes it the better bet in terms of expected return on investment.

Jayson Tatum Under 29.5 Points

The Celtics have quietly been one of the best teams in basketball over the second half of the year, winning 18 of their past 22 games. Tatum’s play has been a big part of their success, with the former Duke star averaging 29.7 points on efficient shooting splits over that stretch.

However, Tatum and the Celtics will face a tough test against the Warriors. Not only are they on the road, but the Warriors have been arguably the best defensive team in basketball this season. They’ve slipped a bit in defensive efficiency as the season has progressed, but that was mainly due to the absence of Draymond Green. Green is back in the lineup now, and the Warriors allow 6.3 fewer points per 100 possessions with Green on the floor. That makes this an appealing spot to take the under on Tatum.

The Latest Sports Betting Content from Stokastic Odds

Stephen Curry Over 4.5 Rebounds

Curry looked rejuvenated with Green back in the lineup on Monday, and he finished with a patented Curry stat line: 47 points, seven 3-pointers, six rebounds and six assists.

His rebounding prop is set at just 4.5 against the Celtics, and that undersells Curry’s ability on the boards. He’s an outstanding rebounder for his size, and he’s averaged 5.3 rebounds per game this season. He’s also ripped down at least five boards in six of his past seven games. Curry’s rebound rate has also been slightly higher when sharing the court with Green, so his return shouldn’t have a negative impact.

Kevon Looney Under 2.5 Assists

Unfortunately, Green’s return isn’t going to be good news for everyone. Looney saw a nice spike in playing time in his absence, but he will likely cede some playing time to Green as he gets further removed from his injury. Green came off the bench in his first game back, but he will eventually return to the starting lineup.

Looney is a sneaky-good passer for a big man, but his assist rate decreases by 3.5% when sharing the court with Green. Those two players should see at least a few minutes together on Wednesday, giving Looney slightly less upside than usual as a passer. OddsShopper gives the under on 2.5 assists an expected win rate of 70%, which is one of the highest marks in this matchup.
