Best NBA Picks and Parlays Today

The first step is locating the new Parlay Builder tab on the OddsShopper home page, which is very simple to do. After that, the user can customize to their heart’s content. OddsShopper offers the parlay bets by state, sportsbooks, and a variety of parlays. This article will be featuring the Prop Party Parlay, which gives up to five player prop bets that will give you the best chance to win based on our Awesemo simulations. The prop party is the most popular betting combo within the Awesemo community and Alex “Awesemo” Baker – the world’s No. 1 daily fantasy player – uses these almost exclusively when he is looking for an edge. It is always a smart idea to bet each wager as a solo piece as a way to build the bankroll. Parlays by their nature are harder to hit, which is why the reward is so large. Saturday’s version of the Prop Party features four wagers as of 10:30 a.m. on the DraftKings Sportsbook, so be sure to check OddsShopper for any updates.

De’Aaron Fox Over 5.5 Assists

In the last game for the Sacramento Kings, De’Aaron Fox had three assists with his new teammates of Domantas Sabonis, Jeremy Lamb, and Justin Holiday but those three assists do not tell the full story. Fox made a total of 63 passes and had eight potential assists, which is fairly impressive considering the lack of time spent with the new players before taking the court for that game. The Kings have had two full days to get some work in to integrate everyone plus a shoot around this morning before they take on the Washington Wizards. What will be very interesting is how the pick-and-roll game develops for Fox and Sabonis.

Fox sits at a 40.7% frequency as the ball-handler in the pick-and-roll this season, but departed guard Tyrese Haliburton is at 47.4%. That opens up more opportunity for Fox while Sabonis scores the fourth-most points per game as the roll man. With Washington allowing the fifth-most points per game to the roll man in the pick-and-roll, Fox has a great chance to rack up assists simply by feeding Sabonis going to the basket. The 63% expected win rate from OddsShopper and a +105 ROI really pushes this wager over the top.

Joel Embiid Under 13.5 Rebounds

It’s nice to look at an under wager for Joel Embiid that doesn’t involve how many points he scores, because that is a scary ride. The big man for the Philadelphia 76ers is at the forefront of the MVP discussion and seemingly can score at will anymore but the rebounding hasn’t quite gotten to this level. He averages 11.1 per game and while he’s capable of grabbing 19 boards as he did last night, the Cleveland Cavaliers are a difficult matchup on the glass. They are 10th in total rebounding compared to dead last for the 76ers and they are 15th in rebounds allowed in the paint. 9.1 of Embiid’s rebounds per game come within six feet of the basket and the duo of Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley for the Cavaliers can at least help contain a ceiling game for Embiid. OddsShopper would agree with that since they have an expected win rate of 72%, the second-highest of the NBA parlay tonight.

Keldon Johnson Over 5.5 Rebounds

On the season, Keldon Johnson is averaging 6.1 rebounds for the San Antonio Spurs and this wager has a large ROI of +120. Those can always be appealing when a player just has to hit his season average for a stat category, although the matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans is not the easiest o rack up rebounds. They are 11th in rebounding overall first in rebounds allowed in the paint, while Johnson does most of his work within six feet of the basket with 4.3 rebounds on average. What catches the eye is Johnson has an uncontested rate of 57% within three feet so he’s not fighting a lot of bodies on those opportunities. If he can pick his spots, this game has a 228.5 point total and the Spurs play at the fifth-fastest pace in the league. With OddsShopper backing up this wager with a 62% expected win rate, the ROI is well worth chasing.

Nikola Jokic Under 9.5 Assists

The Awesemo Parlay Calculator gives this four-leg NBA parlay a return of +1362 and Nikola Jokic himself has an expected win rate of 74%, the highest of the parlay. The upside for Jokic is a triple-double every single night and he recorded another only last night but on the season, he’s averaging just 7.8 assists per game. Since he also averages 20.1 potential assists per game and leads the league in passes made, that seems to be an indictment on the players around him. Jokic and the Denver Nuggets have sorely missed both Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. this season, who have a combined nine games played. The Toronto Raptors have a feisty defense that is ranked 13th in defensive rating but they lack a reliable big man that they play big minutes outside of Pascal Siakam. The Raptors are 21st in points allowed in the paint and if Denver is to win games, Jokic typically has to do more on the offensive end himself than dishing the ball.
