Best NBA Picks and Parlays Tonight

The first step is locating the new Parlay Builder tab on the OddsShopper home page, which is very simple to do. After that, the user can customize to their heart’s content. OddsShopper offers the parlay bets by state, sportsbooks and a variety of parlays. This article will be featuring the Prop Party Parlay, which gives up to five player prop bets that will give you the best chance to win based on our Awesemo simulations. The prop party is the most popular betting combo within the Awesemo community and Alex “Awesemo” Baker, the world’s No. 1 daily fantasy player, uses these almost exclusively when he is looking for an edge. It is always a smart idea to bet each wager as a solo piece as a way to build the bankroll. Parlays by their nature are harder to hit, which is why the reward is so large. Wednesday’s version of the Prop Party features five wagers as of 10:15 a.m. on the Caesars Sportsbook, so be sure to check for any updates.

Trae Young Over 28.5 Points

The Atlanta Hawks have had somewhat of a disappointing season, left to fight for the play-in game after reaching the East Finals last season. Trae Young seems determined to not let the Hawks miss the playoffs, with over 90 combined points in the past two games. John Collins remains out when the Hawks face the Hornets tonight and Young has a usage rate of 36.5% in that scenario. Charlotte represents a glorious matchup for Young, as the Hornets rank 29th in points allowed in the paint. Young is sixth in drives to the basket and sixth in points scored from drives and he should be to get to the rim at will in this matchup. On top of that, the Hornets allow the fourth-highest frequency from a 3-point distance and Young is shooting over 38%, along with Charlotte ranking third in pace and bottom 10 in defensive rating. OddsShopper has an expected win rate of 57% and Young should flirt with 40 minutes in this huge game for Atlanta.

Bobby Portis Over 13.5 Points

OddsShopper has an expected win rate of 67%, which is hard to pass and this line seems like it could be a slight overreaction to the recent results for Bobby Portis. The Milwaukee Bucks are in Sacramento to face the Kings and this game boasts a total of 240.5 points. That makes plenty of sense, as both teams are in the top eight in pace and the Kings are 28th in defensive rating. Portis has averaged 15.3 points per game this year but the past two he has only scored four and seven points. He has also shot a combined 5-19 from the field and that has included 1-9 from a 3-point distance. Considering Portis has a 21.6% usage rate and a 58.1% true shooting rate this year, he is not going to continue to score single-digit points for much longer. The Kings are sixth in field goal percentage allowed from a 3-point distance and are only 0.5% away from being last. Portis is still shooting 40.8% from that range and this is a strong spot for him to rebound and score some points.

Nikola Jokic Over 12.5 Rebounds

Nikola Jokic continues to attempt to win his second consecutive MVP award and the Denver Nuggets are on the East Coast again to face the Washington Wizards. That is the perfect spot for Jokic to hit the glass since he is averaging 13.8 rebounds per game and 21 chances per game, both second in the league behind Rudy Gobert. Jokic does the majority of his work within six feet of the basket, with 11.6 per game, and that is where Washington can have some issues. They are 14th in rebounds allowed in the paint and that is not intimidating, even with the addition of Kristaps Porzingis. OddsShopper has an expected win rate of 57% tonight for Jokic and the Nuggets need every win they can get to remain above the play-in game in the Western Conference.

Rudy Gobert Over 1.5 Blocks

Among players that are not injured, Rudy Gobert is tied with Jaren Jackson Jr. for the NBA lead in blocks per game at 2.2. Tonight sees the Utah Jazz host the Chicago Bulls and this particular matchup is perfect for Gobert to hit two blocks or more. Chicago is third in field goals attempted within five feet of the basket this year (31.8) and that is going to give Gobert a ton of opportunity. On top of the team shooting a lot at the rim, Gobert will have to deal with Nikola Vucevic, who attempts almost four shots per game in the paint. It is not often that someone as skilled as Gobert is under two blocks in any game and OddsShopper backs up this play with a 64% expected win rate.

Kevin Durant Over 29.5 Points

These five picks for the NBA parlay would return +2036 according to the Awesemo Parlay Calculator and Kevin Durant boasts an expected win rate of 59% from OddsShopper. His Brooklyn Nets are playing the Dallas Mavericks tonight without Kyrie Irving and that means Durant is going to have a ton on his shoulders. In the last game without Irving, Durant took a whopping37 field goal attempts. That may be tough to replicate but the Nets are down to a 7-8 man rotation and Durant has a usage rate of 36.8% without Irving and James Harden on the floor. The Nets potentially rising to the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference is not out of reach quite yet and Durant scores 5.6 points per game in isolation. Dallas ranks in the bottom 12 in field goal attempts faced in isolation and it is doubtful they can hold Durant to the 38.5% rate they have held everyone else to.
