Monday features a nine-game NBA slate, including a nightcap between the Thunder and Trail Blazers. This game may not be appealing to most, but it has the potential to be fun. Neither of these teams plays a lick of defense, and both teams are playing a host of young or unproven players. That creates opportunities in the prop market. Let’s dive into some NBA betting tips tonight and how to find the best NBA picks and parlays for March 28.

Same Game NBA Picks & Parlays: Thunder vs. Trail Blazers

The first step is finding which sport you are going to wager on, so the banner at the top of the screen has the sports separated. Once on the NBA page, it is super simple to customize teams and players on the left-hand side of the page.

Now, if you miss one of the odds highlighted in the article because it changed, do not worry. The lines do not always stay the same as they are updated every two minutes. There will be examples of when you can still wager based on the Awesemo projections. It is also easy to sort the props by what style you want to bet them, meaning that you can choose the highest ROI or the highest expected win rate.

Generally, the best approach is a mix of the highest ROI and expected win rate, and this process should take under 30 seconds to filter what you are looking for. The highlighted wagers in the article can also be bet individually, so if the parlay misses by one leg, it is not a total loss.

Tre Mann Over 18.5 Points

The Thunder have fully embraced the tank recently, dropping 11 of their past 12 games. However, they’re still two losses between the three teams with the worst records in basketball, so they have a bit of work to do if they want to guarantee the best chance at the No. 1 overall pick. Unsurprisingly, the team has ruled out Shai Gilgeous-Alexander for this game, and it wouldn’t be shocking if he didn’t suit up again this season.

With Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey and Luguentz Dort all out of the lineup, Mann is going to serve as one of the team’s top scoring threats. He’s coming off just 15 points in his last outing, but he shot a subpar 5-for-15 from the field. He still posted a 29.2% usage rate in that game, which suggests room for improvement against the lowly Trail Blazers. Mann leads the team with a 28.4% usage rate with Gilgeous-Alexander, Giddey and Dort off the floor, and he’s averaged 20.1 points per 36 minutes in that situation.

Theo Maledon Under 5.5 Assists

Maledon is another player who has seen a big bump in value for the Thunder recently. He’s averaged 32.1 minutes over his past two games and has held his own in those contests. However, Maledon has done more of his work as a scorer than a distributor. He’s averaged 22.5 points per game compared to just 4.5 assists in his past two games. also credits him with just 8.5 potential assists per game over those contests, so asking him to get to six seems like a bit too much.

Brandon Williams Over 18.5 Points

Like the Thunder, the Blazers have made up some serious ground in the loss column over the second half of the season. Not only did they trade away C.J. McCollum and Norman Powell, but they’ve also shut down players like Anfernee Simons, Josh Hart and Justise Winslow. Their remaining roster is one of the worst in recent memory, and they have five losses of at least 17 points in five of their past seven games.

Williams has been one of the lone bright spots. He did come off the bench in one of those outings, but he has reclaimed his spot in the starting lineup in each of the past two. He racked up 33.5 minutes in his last contest, and Williams can do plenty of damage against the Thunder with that much playing time. They rank 27th in defensive efficiency over their past 10 games, and Williams has scored at least 20 points in four of six games with at least 30 minutes of playing time.

Isaiah Roby Under 7.5 Rebounds

Roby has shown some promise for the Thunder recently, but this number is simply too high. He’s racked up more than 7.5 rebounds in just one of his previous 10 games, and he’s hit the under on 7.5 boards in 86.5% of his contests this season. This is a strong spot for Roby’s rebounding prospects – the Blazers rank 20th in team rebound rate – but it is better to fade him at such an inflated number.
