Wizards vs. Lakers Same Game NBA Picks & Parlays Tonight | 3/11/22

It is getting near the end of the NBA regular season, but there are still plenty of things yet to be decided. One of the biggest is will the Lakers make the playoffs? They’ve had a disastrous season, but they’re still in ninth place in the Western Conference standings. They have one of the toughest remaining schedules in the league, making Friday’s matchup vs. the Wizards a virtual must-win. Let’s dive into some NBA betting tips tonight and how to find the best NBA picks and parlays for March 11.

Same Game NBA Picks and Parlay: Wizards at Lakers

The first step is finding which sport you are going to wager on, so the banner at the top of the screen has the sports separated. Once on the NBA page, it is super simple to customize teams and players on the left-hand side of the page.

Now, if you miss one of the odds highlighted in the article because it changed, do not worry. The lines do not always stay the same as they are updated every two minutes. There will be examples of when you can still wager based on the Awesemo projections. It is also easy to sort the props by what style you want to bet them, meaning that you can choose the highest ROI or the highest expected win rate.

Generally, the best approach is a mix of the highest ROI and expected win rate, and this process should take under 30 seconds to filter what you are looking for. The highlighted wagers in the article can also be bet individually, so if the parlay misses by one leg, it is not a total loss.

Kyle Kuzma Under 21.5 Points

Kuzma enjoyed a nice stretch as the Wizards’ unquestioned top scorer, but those days are coming to a close. Kristaps Porzingis has suited up in the past two games, and he’s coming off nearly 26 minutes in his last outing. He’ll likely still be limited Friday vs. the Lakers, but his role with the team is growing.

Kuzma’s usage rate has dipped to 26.0% in his two games with Porzingis this season. In the 14 games prior, Kuzma’s usage rate was closer to 29%. That’s going to have an impact on his scoring numbers, and Kuzma managed just 17 points in his last outing despite shooting 50% from the field. The Lakers are a strong matchup, but this is the right time to sell high.

Kristaps Porzingis Over 6.5 Rebounds

Porzingis missed 17 consecutive games for the Mavericks and Wizards, so his new team has unsurprisingly been careful with his minutes in his return to action. He played just 21.3 minutes in his first contest and 25.9 in his second.

Porzingis gobbled up just six total rebounds in those contests, but those performances stand out as clear outliers. Porzingis averaged 7.7 rebounds per game with the Mavericks this season, and he averaged just 29.5 minutes in those contests. We have him projected for 26.5 minutes on Friday, so he has a good chance to hit the over on his rebounding prop vs. the Lakers. They’ve been a subpar rebounding team this season, ranking just 22nd in team rebound rate.

The Latest Sports Betting Content from Stokastic Odds

Ish Smith Over 6.5 Points and Over 4.5 Assists

Smith has been a high-impact player off the bench since arriving in Washington. He’s averaged 8.9 points and 5.5 assists in just 21.6 minutes per game, so he seems underpriced in both departments on Friday.

Smith played just 15.6 minutes in the Wizards’ last outing, but he still managed to rack up four points and eight assists in his limited playing time. He’s averaged closer to 22 minutes per game with the Wizards this season, and he’s expected to return to his usual workload vs. the Lakers. That makes him an appealing buy-low target.

LeBron James Over 30.5 Points

James has had to carry a monster workload for the Lakers this season, and his role is only continuing to grow. He played more than 45 minutes in their overtime loss to the Rockets on Wednesday, and the Lakers’ dismal supporting cast has given him virtually no assistance. With Anthony Davis sidelined and Russell Westbrook struggling, the responsibility falls sole on James to try to carry this squad to the postseason.

With that in mind, expect him to be aggressive vs. the Wizards. He posted a massive 44.0% usage rate two games ago, and he’s averaged a usage rate of 34.7% over his past nine games. That’s a significant increase from his average of 31.7% this season. James also has nice scoring upside vs. the Wizards, who rank just 24th in defensive efficiency. The Lakers’ implied team total of 116.5 ranks sixth on the slate, so I have no problem taking the over on 30.5 points.
