Lakers vs. Suns Same Game NBA Picks & Parlays Tonight | 3/13/22

Sunday features eight NBA games throughout the day, culminating with a matchup between the Lakers and Suns. The Lakers managed to get in the win column in their last outing, while the Suns are coming off a rare loss. The Lakers need to continue to win games to try and improve their playoff chances, but they’re sizable road dogs in Phoenix. Let’s dive into some NBA betting tips tonight and how to find the best NBA picks and parlays for March 13.

Same Game NBA Picks and Parlay: Lakers at Suns

The first step is finding which sport you are going to wager on, so the banner at the top of the screen has the sports separated. Once on the NBA page, it is super simple to customize teams and players on the left-hand side of the page.

Now, if you miss one of the odds highlighted in the article because it changed, do not worry. The lines do not always stay the same as they are updated every two minutes. There will be examples of when you can still wager based on the Awesemo projections. It is also easy to sort the props by what style you want to bet them, meaning that you can choose the highest ROI or the highest expected win rate.

Generally, the best approach is a mix of the highest ROI and expected win rate, and this process should take under 30 seconds to filter what you are looking for. The highlighted wagers in the article can also be bet individually, so if the parlay misses by one leg, it is not a total loss.

Russell Westbrook Over 6.5 Rebounds and Over 15.5 Points

It has not been pretty for Westbrook this season. The Lakers have struggled mightily, and he has been the scapegoat for the fans and media. His scoring efficiency continues to deteriorate, and he’s posted an effective field goal percentage of just 46.2%. That’s his worst mark since the 2010-11 season.

Still, Westbrook’s counting stats aren’t all that dissimilar to what he’s done in the past. He’s still averaging 18.1 points and 7.6 rebounds per game, both of which would be sufficient to hit the over on his current props.

Westbrook took a backseat to LeBron James in their last outing, but he’s still seen slight bumps to his usage and rebound rates in 28 games without Anthony Davis this season. He’s averaged 17.6 points and 7.7 rebounds in those contests, so these numbers are simply too low. OddsShopper gives the over on both props an expected win rate of at least 62%, and the over on his rebound prop owns the highest expected return on investment in this contest.

Landry Shamet Over 1.5 Made 3-Pointers

Shamet is a bit player for the Suns, and he’s out there to provide 3-point shooting. He hasn’t had a great year from behind the arc – he’s shooting a career-low 35.9% from 3-point range – but he’s still averaged 1.7 made 3-pointers per game.

Shamet should also see a few additional minutes vs. the Lakers. Cam Johnson remains out of the lineup, which opens up some additional playing time on the wing. Shamet was 0-4 from 3-point range in his last outing, but he drilled at least two triples in each of his previous five games. This is a nice buy-low opportunity.

The Latest Sports Betting Content from Stokastic Odds

LeBron James Over 29.5 Points

Consider me officially interested in the over on James’ scoring prop in each game for the rest of the year. He knows that the Lakers’ backs are against the wall at the moment, and he’s going to need to continue to deliver monster performances to drag this team to the postseason.

James has scored at least 50 points in two of his past three games, and he’s cranked his usage rate up to 37.8% in those contests. James’ usage rate is just 31.9% for the year, so that represents a sizable increase in aggression. He also should continue to benefit from the absence of Davis, and James has averaged 33.8 points in 26 games without his star teammate. The Suns are a difficult matchup but bet against LeBron at your own risk.

Cameron Payne Over 16.5 Points

Chris Paul remains out of the lineup for the Suns, so Payne will continue to operate as the team’s starting point guard. He has thrived in that role recently, averaging 18.6 points, 10.0 assists, and 4.4 rebounds over his past five games. Three of those games also came with Devin Booker out of the lineup, but Payne has still averaged 17.5 points in his last two contests alongside Booker.

The Suns are also expected to put plenty of points on the scoreboard in this matchup. The Lakers have been a subpar defensive team this season, and they’ve also played at the fifth-fastest pace. Phoenix is currently implied for 119.5 points, so Payne should be able to get to 17.
