NBA Big $$$ Parlay Picks Tuesday 4/5/22

After a night off for the NBA last night, the last week is back in action in full force with 11 games on the slate. There is a mix of games that feature two playoff teams like the Milwaukee Bucks visiting the Chicago Bulls, and there are some teams that are tanking hard. The standings continue to be an important guide to try to figure out the motivation of each team to make picks for an NBA parlay.

That means it is time to use Awesemo OddsShopper to build some of the best NBA picks and parlays today. Using this fantastic site and all of its NBA betting tips can help place smart wagers in an easy-to-use fashion and maximize the ROI on the wagers. It is truly betting made simple since you can find the best bet in 30 seconds or less.

Longshot NBA Picks & Parlays, Player Prop Bets Tonight

The first step is finding the brand new Parlay Builder for OddsShopper. It is located on the top banner and is just one click away. This tool is a game changer because the Awesemo data scientists have built the parlay already. The user has the choice of what type of parlay they prefer to chase, and the state is customizable along with the sportsbook. Though it is rare, underdogs eventually have their day, and when they do, the payouts are excellent. Here are our best bets for underdogs if you like to fade the favorites and cheer for the upset at high odds. As a reminder, betting the props individually is always a smart way to build your bankroll. An underdog parlay is not exactly the most stable return if it is always being bet just as a parlay. Let’s find out what the best-projected bets are for Tuesday and build some NBA parlays today.

Kevin Durant Over 2.5 3-Pointers

The first inclination with Kevin Durant is typically his points prop, which stands at 30.5, and OddsShopper has him projected for over 33 points scored tonight. The Brooklyn Nets face the Houston Rockets, and the Nets can still get into the seven/eight slot of the play-in tournament. Even though they can go no higher, the seven/eight slot is much preferred since it only requires one win to make the seventh seed in the conference. With Durant being projected to easily clear 30 points, it stands to reason he has a very good chance to hit three 3-pointers at a +100 ROI. The Rockets are still tied for last in defensive rating and they allow 3-point attempts at a 40.1% frequency on the season. Durant is not exactly a volume shooter from that distance (275 attempts in 51 games), but the Nets are without Seth Curry and Goran Dragic again tonight. In these past few games, Durant has been more willing to let it fly from a 3-point distance, with 33 attempts in the last four games. The projected win rate is 51%, but in a must-win game with a gaudy total of 244.5, Durant is a great player to wager on for plus money.

Brook Lopez Over 10.5 Points

The Bucks still have a shot at the top seed in the East, even though it is a little unlikely, as they sit 2.5 games behind the Miami Heat. However, making sure Brook Lopez is in top form is an important factor for Milwaukee heading into the playoffs since there are going to be some matchups where they call on Lopez to play 28 to 32 minutes per night. Since March 19, Lopez has played seven games and that date is important because it was the first time he played 20 minutes or more since returning from a back injury. In that time, he is averaging 23.8 minutes per game and 12 points per game right on the nose. The Bulls are sitting 24th in points allowed in the paint this year despite having a traditional center in Nikola Vucevic. Lopez is behind only Giannis Antetokounmpo in paint touches per game (4.7) but he is scoring 5.6 points in the paint in his last seven contests. Add in the fact that Lopez is shooting 34.1% from a 3-point distance and the 54% expected win rate from OddsShopper makes this a strong pick to add to the NBA parlay.

The Latest Sports Betting Content from Stokastic Odds

Rudy Gobert Over 13.5 Rebounds

The Utah Jazz have stumbled over their last 10 games at just 4-6 and are suddenly sixth in the West, only 1.5 games ahead of the play-in tournament. They need a win badly against the Memphis Grizzlies tonight, who have nothing left to play for and Rudy Gobert should see plenty of minutes. There is no denying the Grizzlies are one of the worst statistical matchups on paper for Gobert since Memphis is first in rebounds per game by almost three full rebounds. Where Gobert and the Jazz have a small edge is inside the paint, where they rank first as opposed to seventh for Memphis. That makes sense because Gobert averages 12.9 rebounds inside of six feet of the basket this year to go along with leading the NBA in both rebound chances per game (24.6) and rebounds per game (14.7). There is plenty of discourse over the role in the offense Gobert has, but the rebounding is unquestionable and OddsShopper gives him a 55% expected win rate tonight.

Nikola Jokic Over 28.5 Points

OddsShopper does have this as a true toss-up with a 50% expected win rate but Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets are currently sitting fifth in the West and Jokic is trying to put the finishing touches on a second straight MVP season. They face the San Antonio Spurs tonight and this has been a target for big men all season, as the Spurs are 16th in points allowed in the paint and they have struggled against talented centers. They are especially vulnerable against post-ups, allowing the fourth-highest points per possession and the fourth-highest field goal percentage in that play type. Jokic is averaging 5.9 points per game in the post-up (second in the league) and converting 62.6% of his attempts, which is perfect if betting on him to pour in the points tonight. Jokic is averaging 26.8 points per game on the season, but it is worth noting he has been especially great lately, averaging 33.7 points across his last six games. When it gets to this point of the season, wagering on the stars with motivation to play their best basketball is always a strong path.

Brandon Ingram Over 5.5 Assists

The last wager of the night comes from the New Orleans Pelicans taking on the Sacramento Kings and this is a great bounce-back spot. This may look familiar because this exact wager was in Sunday’s version of this article and Brandon Ingram finished that game with just four assists. However, the metrics suggest that was very poor luck. Not only did the team lose by 19 points and shoot 40.2% from the floor on Sunday, but Ingram also generated a whopping 11 potential assists to only get four conversions. New Orleans is not likely to shoot as poorly as in their last game against the Kings, who rank 27th in defensive rating and eighth in pace. It is also not just based on one game as far as chasing this number once again. Since C.J. McCollum played his first game as a Pelican, Ingram has averaged 11.3 potential assists and 6.2 assists per game with a 28% assist rate. These five picks would net a return of +3262 according to the Awesemo Parlay Calculator and OddsShopper has Ingram himself at a 63% expected win rate, the highest of the five picks in the NBA parlay.
