The NBA schedule is jam-packed with 10 contests tonight and two games have major playoff implications in the Western Conference. The Minnesota Timberwolves visit the Denver Nuggets while the Los Angeles Lakers host the New Orleans Pelicans, and all four teams need to win. There are a ton of longshot picks in those games and others for our NBA picks and parlays tonight.
This is a perfect opportunity to use Awesemo OddsShopper to make some of the best NBA parlay picks today. Longshot NBA Parlay Picks & Player Props Today
The first step is finding the brand new Parlay Builder for OddsShopper. It is located on the top banner and is just one click away. This tool is a game changer because the Awesemo data scientists have built the parlay already. The user has the choice of what type of parlay they prefer to chase, and the state is customizable along with the sportsbook. Though it is rare, underdogs eventually have their day, and when they do, the payouts are nice. Here are our best bets for underdogs if you like to fade the favorites and cheer for the upset at high odds. As a reminder, betting the props individually is always a smart way to build your bankroll. An underdog parlay is not exactly the most stable return if it is always being bet just as a parlay. Let’s find out what the best-projected bets are for Friday on Caesars and build some NBA parlay picks on OddsShopper!
Anthony Edwards Over 4.5 Rebounds
The game between the Timberwolves and the Nuggets has the highest total of the night at 241 points and the spread is just three points, so Anthony Edwards should be on the floor tonight for his normal 34-36 minutes. With the importance of this game, 38-40 minutes is not out of the question because Minnesota has to win to have a chance to get out of the play-in game. Despite having Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets are just 17th in rebounding on the season and they are just 11th in rebounds allowed outside of the paint. Edwards is averaging 3.9 rebounds per game outside of three feet of the basket and the expected win rate is 57%, a very strong number since the ROI is +125.
Jonas Valanciunas Over 18.5 Points
The other game that carries the most significance for the playoffs is the Pelicans vs. Lakers, as these teams are fighting for the ninth and 10th seed along with the San Antonio Spurs. New Orleans just got Brandon Ingram back in their lineup after a hamstring injury in the past two games but that has not harmed Jonas Valanciunas and his scoring ability. He scored 19 points in both games and took at least 11 field goal attempts in both. The Lakers are on track to get Anthony Davis back tonight but they still have a weakness on the interior, as they rank 25th in points allowed in the paint. It could be a stretch to see Davis jump back into the lineup and play elite defense and Valanciunas is in the top 10 in paint touches and points. The expected win rate is 59% from OddsShopper to go along with an ROI of +100.

Aaron Wiggins Over 2.5 Assists
OddsShopper gives an expected win rate of 51% for Aaron Wiggins when the Oklahoma City Thunder host the Detroit Pistons and they remain on an eight-man rotation. They are tanking hard but that leads Wiggins to play 34-36 minutes tonight and these past two games would show this prop is priced wrong. In the last two games, Wiggins made an average of 32 passes, resulting in 4.5 assists per game and 7.5 potential assists per game. That latter number is very large for only needing three assists to hit this wager and the Pistons’ defense is far below average, ranking 24th in defensive rating. The sample size with all these players missing is small for Wiggins at 107 minutes, but in that span, the assist rate is 15.3% and that is plenty for the minutes demanded of Wiggins tonight.
Luka Doncic Over 3.5 3-Pointers
The highest ROI of the parlay would be the +140 for Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks and it is worth chasing even with a 49% expected win rate from OddsShopper. Doncic has been averaging just over 10 3-point attempts per game since the trade deadline and he is shooting over 40% in that span. Dallas has now jumped to third in the Western Conference and even with a playoff spot locked, they will want to keep winning to try and stay in that seeding. Dallas faces the Washington Wizards, which is a strong matchup for Doncic since the Wizards allow the 10th highest field goal percentage from a 3-point distance on the season. They are also sitting 25th in defensive rating so there is every reason to think Doncic can hit four or more 3-point attempts tonight.
Pascal Siakam Over 8.5 Rebounds
The last pick for the NBA parlay comes from the Toronto Raptors, who could jump to fifth in the East with a win tonight. Pascal Siakam and the other starters will play at least 35 minutes, if not more. Siakam is averaging 8.3 rebounds per game. Of those 8.3 boards, 5.8 come within six feet of the basket, and that is going to be where Siakam can exploit this matchup. He faces the weak interior of the Orlando Magic, who rank 28th in rebounds allowed in the paint this year, and that is with Wendell Carter Jr. The Magic will be sitting Carter tonight and he is one of the better rebounders in the league, ranking 11th in rebounds per game. Siakam should be able to have his way on the interior and these five picks add up to a return of +4683 according to the Awesemo Parlay Calculator, not to mention Siakam having a 53% expected win rate from OddsShopper.
