He did not get much help, with the two surprise contributors being Blake Griffin and Jeff Green. The three combined for 93 of the Nets’ 114 points. James Harden helped facilitate the Brooklyn offense but was never a threat to score.
There isn’t much to say about the Bucks. The end stats look alright, shooting 49.4% overall, 40.6% from 3-point range and 76.6% from the free-throw line. Giannis Antetokounmpo shot 14 of 22 overall and 2-for-4 from 3-point range. However, when the game got close, he was a detriment to the Bucks’ offense. He refused to go into the paint for the most part. When the lane was open for his teammates, he demanded the ball. Milwaukee defers to Giannis far too often, and this will likely continue today.
