Best NFL Betting Picks for Week 1 SNF Bears vs. Rams on FanDuel Sportsbook

The first NFL Sunday of the season is capped off with a terrific matchup between two NFC playoff teams from last season that have two new faces at quarterback. With Matthew Stafford in Los Angeles and Andy Dalton in Chicago, this is setting up to be an interesting Sunday Night Football matchup for NFL betting picks. Looking around the industry, FanDuel Sportsbook has great odds and a wide variety of bets for us to place. Let’s take a look at some of the best NFL betting picks for us to place on this Bears vs. Rams matchup.

Week 1 NFL Betting Picks on FanDuel Sportsbook | Bears vs. Rams

Los Angeles Rams Moneyline (+4000)

New users who deposit $10 or more at FanDuel Sportsbook are given +4000 odds on any $5 moneyline bet for Week 1. With the Rams being heavy favorites at home, take this free $200.

Those who are not new users, make should take advantage of FanDuel Sportsbook’s Week 1 risk-free bet, which is available to all users.

Cooper Kupp Receptions: Over 5.5 (-120)

The Bears secondary is the defense’s weakness, so expect to see Matthew Stafford passing a lot. The strength of the Bears is their front seven, and they will look to bring pressure early and often. While the Rams offensive line is solid, they will still give up some pressures, and long-developing plays downfield may not be there. Instead, Stafford may look underneath to Kupp more often than not, leading to this over hitting. Awesemo’s projections agree, giving this over a 56% chance to hit.

First Touchdown Scorer: Sony Michel (+950)

This is not an easy prediction, but the NFL betting odds are too good to pass up. The Rams are expected to win, and they are expected to score quite a bit. Darrell Henderson is the lead back, but Sony Michel looks to be built better for short yardage. Look for him to come off the sideline to run behind that big Rams offensive line once the Rams get in close, like Malcolm Brown in seasons past.

First Drive Result: Punt (-125)

These are two very good defenses. Both teams also have a new quarterback leading their squad this year. In other words, it would make sense for the defenses to be further along than both offensive units, making a punt on the first drive very likely.
