NFL Pick: Daniel Jones 30+ Rushing Yards (+100 PointsBet)
All of the odds boosts around Jones’ passing yards seemed very high for a struggling quarterback. So I decided to stick with the rushing yards considering Jones is now the Giants’ leading rusher by 40 yards. Philadelphia isn’t a great run defense and if the Eagles decide to send pressure at Jones, it’ll open up lanes for Jones to steal some yards on scrambles.
Jones has also run a lot more since Saquon Barkley‘s injury and has rushed for at least 40 yards in three of his last four games. He had seven combined rushes in the first two weeks of the season but then ran the ball five times in Week 3, six times in Week 4 and seven times last week. With so many opportunities to run the ball, getting over 30 yards against this defense feels like as safe a play as you can get with this Giants offense.

NFL Pick: Darius Slayton 75+ Receiving Yards (+215 PointsBet)
Slayton is the Giants’ leading receiver by a wide margin this season with 229 more receiving yards than the next-leading receiver. He’s been the most-targeted wideout in New York’s offense, and he has five more catches than anyone else on the roster. The big issue for Slayton as it relates to this bet is that his production has been inconsistent. He’s had two 100-yard games this year, but his highest total from the other four games is 53 yards. Given Jones’ issues with the passing game in recent weeks, it’ll be tough for Slayton to reach this total.
Yet this wager is on my list because I like Slayton’s play-making ability enough that I think he’ll have a big game even if the Giants do not. Jones is going to throw the ball in Slayton’s direction no matter his foot injury, and at more than 16 yards per catch, it won’t take many receptions to get him over 75 yards. The Giants will likely need to throw the ball a lot in the second half of this game, so that will mean more action for him as well, which always bodes well for a high-production day.
