Packers vs Colts Game Info
Green Bay Packers (7-2, 4-1 Away) vs. Indianapolis Colts (6-3, 3-1 Home)
Date: Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020
Time: 4:25 p.m. EST
Venue: Lucas Oil Stadium— Indianapolis, Indiana
Coverage: FOX
The Packers are entering the game a little bit healthier. They return star cornerback Jaire Alexander and starting wide receiver Allen Lazard to the lineup. They also looked to be returning starting cornerback Kevin King after a lengthy absence, but he was a late add to the injury report on Saturday with an Achilles. His status remains unknown. Still, the return to the lineup for receiver Lazard cannot be understated. The outcries of Packer fans at the trade deadline to get a receiver were loud, but now they add a tremendous number two to an already solid offense. Lazard put up 146 yards the last time we saw him.
After playing last Thursday, the Colts have had a few extra days of rest and preparation for this tough matchup. However, defensive end Denico Autry was placed on the COVID reserve list and will be out. His ability to rush the passer will be missed, and the Colts must find another way to make sure Rodgers doesn’t have all day to throw. Philip Rivers has been playing well, and he even got rookie Michael Pittman involved last Thursday, as he put up his first 100-yard game as a pro.
The big story in this game will be the Colts’ run offense against the Packers’ run defense. Neither unit has accomplished anything impressive. The Packers have allowed 4.6 yards per carry, but recently gave up big performances to James Robinson and Dalvin Cook. The Colts run offense has severely disappointed this season. They have averaged 3.8 yards per carry, which is tied for the fourth worst in the league. The offensive line ranks 23rd in adjusted line yards, showing this hyped-up offensive line may not be pulling their weight.
