Tuesday night there are 10 games spanning North America, so there are plenty of NHL betting opportunities. The last few Tuesday and Thursday slates have been devoid of some big names, but that is not the case tonight. Let’s make some picks for tonight’s matchups on Nov. 9.
Best NHL Bets Today: Player Prop Odds & Betting Picks
Golden Knights to Cover -1 vs. Kraken (+135, SugarHouse)
It is no secret how riddled the Golden Knights roster has been with injuries. Three of their top six forwards are now riding the pine, with only Mark Stone anywhere near a return. However depleted, the team has kept the ship afloat by playing a more efficient offensive style of hockey with the league’s second-most expected goals (24.85) and maintaining a .500 record. They invite the Kraken (4-7-1) into the T-Mobile Arena, who are coming off a loss to the league’s proverbial doormat, the Coyotes. The Kraken have struggled on the road, with just one win in seven attempts this season (four straight losses). They have not played poor hockey at either end, but they are allowing the seventh-most goals per game (3.33) and over four goals per game on the road.
It is also no secret that the Golden Knights have played well at home since their inception. On top of all those factors, the Knights have the best value for any home favorite. That makes them the strongest play of the night.
