The Tampa Bay Lightning start their West Coast road trip in Los Angeles to face the Kings in Crypto.com Arena. Going through a few time zone changes is never exactly easy on a team, but the Lightning still have plenty working to their advantage. The Lightning could be without Ondrej Palat for one more game, but he is by no means the driving force of that top line for Tampa, with Brayden Point and Nikita Kucherov both humming along since returning to the lineup. Somehow Pavelski was held shotless last game against Tampa (he did have an assist), but in his previous four he fired off 16 shots on net. Regression to those numbers should be expected here.
