Denver Nuggets at Phoenix Suns: Mikal Bridges OVER 13.5 points (-128, BetMGM)
This one is pretty straightforward, but with a big MMA fight on Saturday night, and Championship games in the NFL on Sunday, eyes may be off the NBA for the weekend. Bridges has been fantastic for the Suns this season, getting big minutes on the wing, and producing — 15.4 points per game in 33.1 minutes per game.
We saw this exact matchup last night, with Bridges put up 24 points on 8-of-15 shooting in 41 minutes, though we of course won’t expect the same results. More importantly, the Villanova product has gone over 13.5 points in four of his last five contests, including a 34-point outburst against the Pacers. Here’s the kicker — Devin Booker, who scored 31 points on 21 shots in 40 minutes in this matchup on Friday has been ruled out. Bridges may see a couple extra minutes, but he’s already seeing plenty of run alongside Booker. The shot attempts are where he should see a really solid boost. Taking Booker’s production off the table gives us a massive edge here, making this my favorite player prop and one of the best NBA betting picks on the board tonight.
