Monday’s Best Bet cashed in the Milwaukee – Detroit game, with the total ending at 206 points. Today we are back at it with an action-packed NBA slate consisting of 11 games. There are two value spots to lock in, starting with the Orlando Magic taking on a struggling Boston Celtics team desperate to get back in the win column.

Best NBA Betting Picks Tonight | Nov. 3

Celtics vs. Magic

The Magic are coming off an impressive second half comeback against the Timberwolves. Meanwhile, the Celtics have lost back-to-back games: One in double overtime and another with a fourth quarter collapse. Tonight Boston should get back on track against a young Orlando team. There is value in the 6.5-point spread for the Celtics given the Pistons were just 6-point favorites over Orlando three days ago.

Boston has won six straight in this series matchup by an average of 18 points. Coming into this game Boston ranks 27th in defense efficiency but has been staying competitive on the offense end, averaging 113.9 points, the fourth most in the league. Fortunately for Boston, they will be going up against Orlando, who is only averaging 103.9 points per game. Orlando continues to deal with injuries, resulting in a small rotation coupled with a very young roster. Boston has too much offensive power for the Magic to keep up. Look for Marcus Smart to lock down Cole Anthony and limit Orlando’s scarce offensive options.

Boston is 5-1 against the spread in their last six matchups. Orlando is running with a short rotation, and Boston should control the pace and cover.

Best Bet for Tonight’s Game is Spread: Boston Celtics -6.5

Raptors vs. Wizards

The Raptors are coming off an impressive win over the Knicks but took a hit by losing rookie Scottie Barnes with a sprained right thumb. The Raptors were already short-handed to start the season with Pascal Siakam injured, and now they lost the No. 4 pick, and he is currently without a return timetable.

The Wizards come into this game with a 5-2 record and are exceeding early expectations for the offseason overhaul of their roster. Defensive improvements are noticeable and leading them to victory. Montrezl Harrell has been the biggest surprise, averaging 18.4 points and a career-high 9.9 rebounds in 31 minutes per game. With Davis Bertans (ankle) ruled out for Wednesday, Kyle Kuzma and Deni Avdija will likely see increased minutes.

These two teams already matched up once in the season opener, with Washington topping Toronto 98-83. Wizards hold a 5-1 first half record against the spread, with an average margin of 5 points at home this season. Look for Bradley Beal to have a better shooting performance than their first matchup and for Washington to continue their winning ways tonight against Toronto.

Best Bet for Tonight’s Game is Spread: Washington Wizards First Half -1.5
