Yesterday featured some quality action across the league. Chicago and Washington continue to impress, with both teams moving to 8-3 on the year, tied for the top of the East. Over in the West, Golden State became the first to 10 wins on the season after taking care of business against the Timberwolves. NBA Thursday offers a three-game slate, but do not worry; there is always value to be found. The night kicks off with Philadelphia welcoming the Raptors. Below are some of the bets to make tonight and overall NBA betting tips for Thursday, Nov. 11.

Best NBA Betting Picks Tonight | Nov. 11

Raptors vs. 76ers

The Raptors and 76ers are looking to get back in the win column after each team has lost their last two games. The Raptors were happy to get Pascal Siakam back in the lineup on Sunday after recovering from his offseason surgery. Nick Nurse said he does not expect Siakam to play on Thursday given it is the second night of a back-to-back. Khem Birch has been ruled out with a knee injury. With Siakam and Birch out, expect Precious Achiuwa to pick up more minutes.

Joel Embiid entered the NBA’s health and safety protocols on Monday and is likely to be held out for at least 10 days. The 76ers have battled health issues early on, as Embiid, Matisse Thybulle and Tobias Harris have all been inactive. Harris was upgraded to questionable for Thursday, which is a sign that he could be active after missing the last six games. Seth Curry is listed as questionable with a left foot bruise and will likely be a game-time decision.

Toronto has a 5-7 over/under record, while the 76ers are 4-8. In their three matchups last season, the total averaged 205.6 points per game. Toronto and Philadelphia rank 29th and 30th in pace, and the 76ers average the third-fewest shot attempts per game. The under is 8-2 in the 76ers last 10 home games. With several key players out for both squads, take the under in tonight’s matchup.

Heat vs. Clippers

The Heat are coming off an overtime loss to the Lakers last night at Staples Center. Jimmy Butler left the game in the first half with ankle sprain and did not return. This is a short-term blow to the Heat, who have started the season 7-4. Miami will stay in Los Angeles for another matchup at Staples Center, but this time against the Clippers.

After a 1-4 start to the season, the Clippers turned things around by winning five straight and improving to 6-4. Paul George continues to put the offense on his shoulders, averaging 26.7 points per game. Reggie Jackson and Nicolas Batum have been providing needed support, combining for 30-for-58 from the field (51.7%) over the last two games. The Clippers will have a more challenging defensive matchup going up against a Miami squad that is only allowing 101.5 points per game — fourth in defensive efficiency.

Miami will miss Butler, who is accounting for 22.9% of the Heat’s offensive production this year. In addition, Markieff Morris will be out of this game after getting whiplash from the shove by Nikola Jokic in Monday’s game. Max Strus is ruled out for a sixth straight game, dealing with a knee injury. With Morris and Strus sidelined, K.Z. Okpala will likely see more playing time.

The Clippers come into this series matchup winners of five straight, with an average margin of victory of 9 points per game. All five wins came by 4 or more points. The Clippers have been playing well at home to start the year, winning by an average of 6.3 points. After watching Miami blow a 9-point lead to the Lakers without Lebron James, the Clippers should push the tempo early in order to take control of the pace. Expect the Clippers to continue their win streak and cover against Miami on Thursday night.
