Welcome to the Awesemo Expert Golf Betting Picks for the final round of the Sony Open. Three rounds have been completed and scores have been great all week. Russell Henley (+100) has been at or near the top of the leaderboard for each of the first three days but has doubled the number of golfers within four shots of the lead after a Saturday 68. With the lowest-ranked golfer left in the field Hideki Matsuyama (+225), being the closest competitor, except Henley’s road victory to be quite bumpy.
In the last couple of rounds now, the low score of the day was 64. If all things are equal, and Henley nor Matsuyama eclipse the -21 number, then anyone at -13 or better could have a chance of winning.
PGA Odds and Betting Picks: Sony Open
Top Candidate: Seamus Power — 14-1
For the second straight week in Hawaii, Power has looked fit and in form. This week his putter has turned to the positive side of the strokes gained category, and with it, top 5 upside. Now, if he has a spike putting day on Sunday, and his ball-striking remains, he could sneak out and post a number, around 20 or 21 under and steal the title away from Heley.
Value: Kevin Kisner — 28-1
The best putter of the golfers in the top 10, Kisner finds himself on the first page of the leaderboard for the second straight week. He’s one of the golfers that when a few putts start going in early, they all go in. Being five back to start the day, so at 28/1, it isn’t the most ideal number, but he is on the very short list of golfers that could win, starting five back heading into the final round.
Deep Shot: Cameron Davis– 65-1
Davis’s first appearances on the top of the leaderboard came after a few late birdies. He’s been lurking all week, just not quite hitting his full stride but looking comfortable in all parts of his game. On Sunday, it’ll take a low one to reach the leaders sitting six back to start the day.
